THE STATE OF THE BIG BRAIN MACHINE
THE BIG BRAIN Machine is being reassembled as shown the photo. This is the Brain consolidation as it's being set up in the new Big Brain Room BBR.

Not shown at the top is another Big Brain board layer. The Brain includes the Exoskeleton at the right and the extra large wired breadboards at the left. Note: there's a BASIC Stamp Homework Board in the Guest position at the top left on the EXO. This represents the union of the Propeller processor and the BASIC Stamp processor. Stamp and Propeller serially communicate. As seen here, the Brain is wired for 100,100 mixed processors. This is the Left Brain section. Not shown at right is the Right Brain. Left plus Right Brain make up a supercomputer. The Big Brain reached supercomputer status on April 5th of 2012. The BBR, with it's dedicated air conditioning system, doubles as a supercomputer lab room. Not shown at the left is a ten tier BASIC Stamp SEED (Self Evolving Enumerating Deterministic) Supercomputer with Tiny AI software. The room is expected to contain the remaining BASIC Stamp supercomputers.

The Big Brain Machine also serves as the supercomputer for the ULTRA Space Administration and the GT Genius Telescope. The BBR holds 8 supercomputers including the seven novel BASIC Stamp Supercomputers and the Big Brain. The Big Brain is made up of Parallax Propeller chips, AMD streaming processors, INTEL Cores, ELITE VIP Processors, BASIC Stamp Host Boards and a Stamp + Propeller Brain Stem.

Big Brain Consolidation Lab

The Big Brain has expanded its machine gizzards all over the place! Some here, some there... It's time to consolidate. The new Big Brain dedicated room is being created in conjunction with the Static Lab Expansion, making a much larger and more powerful Humanoido Laboratory. The photo shows the room where the new consolidation of the Big Brain will happen. This space will be referred to as the Big Brain Room BBR. BBR is wired for electricity, has its own air conditioner, and is well lit with four high intensity beams and two incandescent lights.

The New Brain Consolidation Lab
The new Big Brain Consolidation Lab is unique, spun from the Static Lab and a room dedicated to the Big Brain machine. The new consolidated lab contains a standard Humanoido Lab, with a working lab area - a full 91cm x 186cm work space, a library which will undergo more expansion, and a lab bench area slated for another 60cm x 200cm. The special feature is the Big Brain dedicated room (see the empty brain room in the photo). Over the next several weeks, the Big Brain and all of its components will move into this room.

The area comprising the Big Brain breadboard mounts will span 95cm across, with hidden lower height of 40cm at a depth of 50cm to the back side wall. The above expansion space spans a full 157cm to the vertical. The full depth of the lab bench will facilitate more library books at the area in the rear.

Although not fully etched, the New Big Big Brain Consolidation Lab and its many facets is slated to include the following divisions:

Humanoido Labs historically were in development for decades and are now located both domestically, internationally and of free dominion. Many interesting stories are about the early beginnings. This is the first available sneak peek preview with lists that categorize elements of location, function and milestones. Stay tuned as this is just a beginning look into the development of the Humanoido Labs...

The well equipped sci-fi batcave included areas for a supercomputer, research and development, a space program with various flight spacecraft, library, display trophy room, scientific surveillance, experiment chambers, inventions, lab tables and instrumentation equipment.

What's a Laboratory?
A Laboratory is a room, building or location, equipped for experimenting, inventing, scientific research and design, and academic study.

The First Humanoido Lab
The first Humanoido Lab probably came from an idea rooted in science fiction of the 1950s and 1960s, with scientific labs depicted in various episodes of Supercar, Outer Limits, the Twilight Zone, Fireball XL5, Superhero Comic Books, Tom Swift Novels, and Sci-Fi Movies cast for black & white television.

Superhero Labs as Reference
Superheros in particular had super powerful labs. Superman's Fortress of Solitude had the world's most advanced supercomputer and instrumentation controls made from crystals. Batman's Bat Cave held lab and control benches, a trophy room, library, and it's own space program crafts.

What's in a Laboratory?
Because a Laboratory is a place to do inventing, creating and study, it typically includes tools, equipment, parts and resources to accomplish these goals. Early Humanoido Labs, from the start, contained basic sections in common (a work place, robotics area, science studies, inventory of parts, a telescope and astronomical programs, printing and writing, cutting edge technology). The following is a list of what's most likely to be found in a Humanoido Lab.

Evolution of Humanoido Labs
The labs have continued to evolve and change. These changes are based on interests, advancing levels of technology and investment revenue. The current Lab is very unique and now contains resources for investigating new areas of science.

USA Lab 01 at GH
This is the 1st Humanoido Lab ever constructed. It was city-located at the gray house and constructed before the age of personal microcomputers. The state of the art computer at that time was ENIAC. The lab had no computer or calculator. The lab was primarily scientific to study archeology, fossils, osteology, bones, botany, plants, entomology, insects, biology, herpetology, reptiles and amphibians, optical, lenses, astronomy, telescopes, and mechanics, robots. Milestones: Built the 1st talking humanoid robot and a drum & rubber type-face printing press, wrote stories & published/printed newspaper, experimented with robotics, worked with motors, mechanics, gears, tin metal fabrication from tin can recycling, 1st library of books about science, books about robots and computers, conducted many experiments, utilized the 1st refracting telescope, Lunar studies, study of achromatic aberration, study of botany - plants, leaves, flowers, biology, entomology study - insects, ants, dragon flies, beetles, frogs, fire flies, and regional scouting.

This was the first large multifaceted full scale indoor laboratory with full facilities built at the White House, at a hidden rural location. It included a library and the lab specialized in modeling with fiber board and aluminum, the lab owned a plastics heat molding machine for making custom designed parts, designs, launching black powder rockets, designing jet engines, creating circuits in the electronics lab, doing electronic circuit experiments, working with tubes and transistors, radio construction and design, antique radio repair, ham radio receiver construction, Morse code, space art, transmitter construction, 6-tube short wave radio construction, transistor SWL, photography, photographic darkroom work, solar prints, enlarger, cameras, astrophotography, astronomy, telescopes, lenses, projectile canons, an array of robots including humanoids, extensive chemistry lab, microscope, weather study and weather observatory, electronic amplifiers, the first laser guns, UFO study, electronic bugging systems, recording systems, SWL with QSL verifications, liquid soldering, language learning via short wave radio (Peking Radio and VOA Voice of America). Included sections for biology, entomology study, research, historical studies, the first inertial powered rocket system, the first resin engraving system, study of animals, the first kite flying space program to one mile extension, camera on kite aerial photography, box and delta wing kite designs, flying and building .049 liquid fuel engine aircraft, constructing & flying balsa wood aircraft, receiving long distance AM transmissions, a study of SF, 100-150 foot antennas, and included the first lab showcase. During this time period, SF included Supercar, Fireball XL5, and outer limits.

USA Lab 03 at WHT
At a rural location, this was a very innovative country-based 1st suspended off-the-ground laboratory and observatory. This large scale Exploratory Research Lab and observation post was built elevated in a very large tree. Milestones included research, aerial photography, observations, astronomy, elevated telescopic observations, nature photography and science experiments.

USA Lab 04 at WHC
This was a country-located isolated and dedicated laboratory created from an unused small house the size of a chicken coop for chemistry experiments and the development of new chemical properties. It also included a full scale weather system and climatatic observation post, photography experiments with a camera collection and the 1st photographic darkroom. It included film development with darkroom chemicals, trial mixes of Sodium Thiosulfate fixer and Metol and Accufine-like developers, a sun solar frame for making sepia prints, telescopic refracting solar projections and sunspot studies, a Tasco 30mm refractor, various astronomy and telescope observation studies.

USA Lab 05 at WHW
This lab is a left wing addition to WH. It served as a place to liquid solder electronics, manufacture test models, create rockets, develop electronic systems, disassemble electrical and mechanical modules for parts, and develop research jet engines. It included a showcase section.

USA Lab 06 at RH
This red housed lab was situated in the city. Ham radio, SWL radios, QSL international short wave radio reception card collection, electronics, kit building, artistic constructions, experiments with ceramics, glazing, kiln firing, glass working, showcase.

USA Lab 07 at RHB
This is a large full house sized basement addition to RH for glass working and experimenting.

USA Lab 08 at RHS
This is a full scientific and art showcase with mathematical constructs illustrating various geometries

USA Lab 09 at YH
Also city located, the yellow housed laboratory was at garden level. Capabilities included chemistry, telescopes, astronomy, photography, astrophotography, the 1st Mars study at 1st viewed opposition, visual and photo observations, observational concrete observatory platform, 4.25-inch F-11 telescope, electronics, microscope, spintharascope, SWL, radios, mechanics, optics, lunar studies, lunar mapping and cartography, Jupiter & Saturn studies, Ganymede photography, and a Jupiter Moons study. One project was the determination of the speed of light using the Jovian Moon system. During this time period, SF included Star Trek.

This is an observatory appendage to YH for telescopic observations, astrophotography and visual observing.

USA Lab 11 at GA

This lab mid floor ground level lab was built in an apartment with a notorious person known as the Gooch (named after the comical mythological character of ill repute), living in the upstairs floor, who tried to sabotage the efforts of the scientists working at the indoor lab and at the basement level at the at the observational area. Its capabilities included Astronomy, portable telescopes, astrophotography, deep space, planetary studies, observation of celestial events, biology, reptiles, tropical fish, publications, article writing and authoring, telescope design, solar studies of sunspots, aurora, meteor study

This city lab was built in a small family owned home on the second floor level. It was equipped for astronomy, telescopes, astrophotography, deep space, planetary studies, observation of celestial events, biology, reptiles, tropical fish, specializing in Mars, cartography, map entire surface of Mars, telescope 10X enhancements, construction and carpentry, human bone structure study, study of the human heart, development of a laser beam communication system, photo darkroom, development of astronomical techniques, telescope construction, grinding/ polishing/ figuring lenses & mirrors, manufacturing of fiberglass tubes, antenna systems, SWL, electronics, circuit building, modern radios, antique radios, mounting design and construction, SWL & electronics, 2-way radio. The extension included a recording studio with electronics and a library.

Adjacent 2nd floor room extension to MO

USA Lab 16 at MOB
Basement level extension to MO but classifies as full scale laboratory, city located, specially constructed for photography, included a chemical photographic darkroom, cameras, astrophotography, film techniques, astronomy, Schmidt Camera, Practica FX. Served as the processing work horse environment for a summer long Mars opposition study with an 8-inch F6 Newtonian reflector telescope and the enhanced 80-inch telescope. During this time, a 12.5-inch lens was in the making along with a resin lab to construct fiberglass telescope tubes.

Basic open short term summer lab, was set up and then dissolved in only a few months due to lack of security

This was a mobile lab that didn't go anywhere. It included an Astronomical observatory and capabilities with telescopes, astronomy, observing, photography, cameras, astrophotography, working with steel buildings, roll off roof observatory, telescope design.

USA Lab 20 at MHO
This was a separate rural observatory laboratory fabricated from a wood and thick steel shed. It functions as a companion to MH. It was modified into a roll off roof observatory.

City based and owned, the most sophisticated and capable Humanoido Lab ever built. It was here a new microcomputer was designed, invented and constructed (though never sold). Located in Taiwan, this observatory is a small observational lab center built from an outdoor deck. International Lab 53 Big Brain Consolidation Lab
This Taiwan Lab brings together more parts of the supercomputer for the greatest consolidation effort in the history of the Big Brain machine. Includes large work space, storage of parts, a computer center with three computers, two Apple Macs and one PC, a library, print center, area for work on the Propeller COSMAC Elf, a photo center, and rapidly expanding other scientific areas.

Free Lab 54 at TLF (No Parent Country)
The TLF a mobile lab inside luggage - a mobile netbook computer, electronic parts, processors, small version of the Big Brain, software, apps, notes, books, electronics, references, resources, batteries, hook up circuits, links etc.

Free Lab 55 at VLF (No Parent Country)
This is a Virtual Lab Facility (VLF) and online cyber lab. It includes everything for a working laboratory located in the virtual cyber world - all lab parts, parts of the Big Brain embedded in software, VR components, applications, software, data, word processing, data base, spreadsheet, mail, image albums, file storage, teleconferencing, information access, storage and retrieval of work, online access to multiple linking sources, charts, plots, resources and references. Utilizes a computer or small iPhone terminal at any location with internet to access the online Cyber Lab. 

Free Lab 56 (No Parent Country)
The Mobile Transport Lab MTL is one that can remain in flight without a parent country. A Mobile Transport Lab was flown over the North Pole and collected data. This is a mobile science and technology lab for travel that is a more modern version of the original Transport Lab Facility (TLF). New items include a cell phone with many digital scientific apps, multiple cameras, and a space telescope.

2013 International South Korea Lab 57 SCL

Lab 50 was built internationally in Taiwan on the 6th floor for scientific inventions. The lab was discontinued due to constant shaking from an underground subway system and constant small earthquakes.

Lab 60 was USA built from a large portable space hangar made from steel pipe and a poly covering. The massive hangar harbored large projects, the space truck, a tool shop, and other experimental devices. It was originally built in 2015 and modified for increased strength for gale-type wind resistance in 2016.

Lab 61 was a USA rocket lab created in 2016 inside the space land residence to house a cache of 15 rockets and their power launch engines. It held the rocket planes, ejectable astronaut and ejectable rocket, a staging canister, and other goodies.

Lab 62 in the USA is a Space Car Lab inside the wood garage. It provided space for the construction of the space car. The tiny space car is a means of rocket device recovery across the launch spaceport.

Lab 63 is a USA space rocket computer lab, equipped with one of the most powerful computer systems. It was outfitted with state of the art peripherals and its own internet systems. It can feed cameras year round for security.

Lab 64 is a new lab in Taiwan on floor 2 with new rocket functions.

Skyscraper Roof Lab

Humanoido Labs now introduces another lab - The Skyscraper Roof Lab. The SRL is located directly on the top of a very tall skyscraper roof and has access to the full 360 degree skyline. The view and ambiance of the location is absolutely breathtaking and exhilarating, and not without some unexpected phenomenon.

Special permission to access this strict peak location is granted by the building management. The area accessed is quite large, equal to the full perimeter of the skyscraper. The area also shares a small equipment room, the exit construction, with pipes, meters and service pumps for each apartment. The peak is protected with concrete, brick and ceramic tiles around the perimeter.

The lab is used primarily as an observatory for conducting telescopic observations, running various aeronautical tests and experiments, a space program platform, and the location to record celestial events. This observational lab tower is ideal for weather studies and as a monitor of local atmospheric conditions where the level of water vapor humidity content is relevant, along with the levels of pollution. A skyscraper rooftop laboratory is not without its set of caveats. There is always a danger of high speed wind and errant wind gusts that can sweep whatever is on top of the roof, including people, over the side to hundreds or even thousands of feet below. Roof Lab has several safety devices installed - a sunken moat around the perimeter, a raised brick perimeter elevation, in some areas a second perimeter barrier, and a wrought iron fence atop the brick perimeter wall. Even with these safeguards, one must observe great caution. One concern is the exit door, which has no handle on the outside and automatically locks when shut. It's easy for the wind to catch the door and slam it shut with any occupants on the roof becoming stranded. A large piece of construction material is always placed in the doorway to prevent the door from inadvertently closing. Roof Lab usually has good privacy, even with a fully occupied skyscraper building. This is because roof tops have become notorious for jumpers - people that believe this is an easy way to suicide. Years ago on my first trip to the city I went to the rooftop to enjoy the magnificent city view and to have a picnic and get some suntan. Suddenly some frantic people appeared and thought I was going to jump off the roof! Well, laying there on my beach towel and eating my picnic lunch didn't appear too threatening to me but to others it seemed rather serious. Skyscraper Roof Lab was the key location for successfully observing and recording the rare June 2012 Venus Transit.

    New Static Humanoido Labs

    NEW STATIC HUMANOIDO LABS
    More Humanoido Labs! The recent development of the Static Laboratory, which is ground based and located inside a tall high rise skyscraper in the heart of the big city (population of about 8 million according to the GeoNames geographical database), includes the opening up of new space and capabilities.

    Developments
    This adds to the current developed space with an office area, computer center, Big Brain eye development and research center, micro sized libraries, and small electronics parts inventory sections. This includes the Deep Space Center, Ultra Space Administration and the new GT Telescope Control Center.

    Loft in Full Operation
    New work has opened up full functionality of the loft which is serving up parts inventory. 

    Lower Level Expansion Room
    The new LL lower level expansion room is now being opened up which will include a larger library, electronics lab with instrumentation area, a full cybernetics lab with mechanics and robotics area along with an inventory of humanoid robots, an astronomical telescope center with numerous telescopes and other distributed parts of the Big Brain. 

    Scientific Library
    The library is primarily scientific, with sections for science, computer programming, electronics, chip technology, robotics, science fiction, and languages (English, Chinese, Japanese, Tagalog). 

    Other Labs Supplements
    The Static Lab will supplement the Mobile Humanoido Lab and the Humanoido Cyber Lab located online, previously discussed. The lab also includes the second floor loft and permission to fully utilize the top roof of the tall skyscraper! The RL Roof Lab is where telescopes are set up, observation tests are conducted, altitude and aerial experiments are made, and recently the rare Transit of Venus was observed.

    New CCD Eye

    BIG BRAIN GETS A POWERFUL NEW CCD EYE
    The Big Brain can now look farther and deeper in the Universe depths with this new big color camera eye. On June 13th, 2012, the Big Brain gained a powerful new CCD eye, purposed for imaging great gains to ISO 27,000.

    Features The electronic lensing eye employs a CCD element sensor which saves data to a 16 GB High Speed SD Ultra Card by Sandisk at a high speed data transfer rate of 30MBPS. The sensing element is a 10.0 Megapixel 1.1.7-inch Charge Coupled Device with a fast pre image forming F/2.0 to F/4.9 wide angle (28mm to 105mm) lens capable of zoom at 3.8 optical x 4 digital (15.2 combined). It contains a full size 3-inch bright LCD monitor with 461,000 pixels. The eye can time expose a quarter of a minute (15 seconds) for astronomical and dark area imaging and reaches a fast high end exposure of 1/1600s. Vision is as close as 2-inches or out to infinity and includes a timer. One great feature is the programmable function ring which can be assigned various modes.

    Battery pack and recording media
    The eye handles continuous imaging at 1.9 views a second and will also record video and stereo audio. The digital zoom is silent on the recording audio. The eye features the advanced Optical Image Stabilizer System. Capacity is 164,734 views per card fill. Resolution goes to 3648 x 2736 pixels. Data is saved in compressed or full JPG or high resolution RAW and is fully compatible with Apple OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and iPhoto. The eye interfaces with High Speed USB 2.0, NTSC, PAL, and records in Stereo. The Vid can handle 5-hour stints and has an active optical zoom. (Capture 720p HD 24 FPS video in stereo sound; playback on an HDTV via the HDMI output.) Weight is only 6 ounces (170g) and approximate housing dimensions are 3.93 x 2.3 x 1.16 inches (99.8 x 58.4 x 29.5mm), ideal for both Brain and telescope mounting. Framing is selected from 16:9, 3:2, 4:3, 1:1, and 4:5. The battery used is NB-6L. The image camera can serve as an advanced robot eye, a Big Brain image center, the imaging device for the Ultra Space Program, a satellite imaging unit for launches into space, etc. The interior Canon S95 electronics is similar to the Canon G12 at half the price. (the G12 is larger, heavier, slower, with a smaller LCD display but has more external controls, a flip out LCD and a closer focus macro.)     Monetary Investment What does this system cost when exported to overseas markets like Taiwan? The camera lists for US$399.99. A package with camera, one extra original manufacture's battery, LCD protect screen covering, a SanDisk 16GB 30MB/s Ultra Media SDHC1 Card (note: this is currently the fastest, class 10, data transfer card of this type offered by SanDisk), a Digital Cleaning Kit and the dealer service plan was $380.00. Separately added by Humanoido Labs is a specialized sides-reinforced black zippered bag that holds: the camera, one extra battery and the download USB cable plus notes. Note, the hard leather camera case recommended by the seller was not purchased as it had a bolt which did not line up with the camera and could not hold any accessories. www.amazon.com currently sells the camera for US$392.00 without any accessories.

    SONY T Series Announcement
    NOTE: According to internet sources, all known SONY T series cameras, such as T10, T20 etc. have a manufacturing defect. Apparently, new or old cameras can develop a lens vibration anomaly rendering the camera useless. A stabilizing lens gyro internally with glue mounts fails. SONY offered a free recall fix in 2011 that has now ended. Camera owners are now left with a very expensive fix, in which in some cases has failed again, or the route to purchase another brand camera.

    Summary In summary, the new S95 eye has a faster lens, a more sensitive ISO rating, can take longer time exposures and faster exposures, is about the same small weight, size and has a similar timer, has a 2" macro instead of .75", has a larger brighter display, a larger megapixel CCD imager, adds stereo sound, and has a card with eight times the storage capacity.
