The Big Brain Technologies Science Foundation for the Advancement Virtual Life has opened up experiments with artificial life born into the word of Virtual Reality VR, MR Mixed Reality and IR Immersive Reality.
Such beings can create their own behaviors, way of life and could support long distance space travel to the stars.
VR Life forms don't need air to breathe, can withstand heavy G forces of rocket propulsion, have total recall and memory and could support human life. Potentially they could take up little to no physical space, can be stored and reactivated for long journeys, do not consume supplies of food or compete with humans for resources.
