On Friday, October 1, 2021, the second batch of 500 snails were cryogenically frozen and stored. Then on Sunday, October 3, 2021, they were space transported to a second cryogenic chamber. There they await for space transportation to an unknown place in spacetime. These are the first experiments and the precursors towards establishing a similar system for humans and spaceflight.
