Sneaky Tiny Tardigrade Astronauts were First to the Moon
NASA unknowingly transported tens of thousands of Tardigrade stowaway life forms over the years. It wasn't until years later when NASA actually checked for lunar microbial action did they find the first miniature lunar colonists surviving in abundance. Indeed NASA was at fault for not providing a healthy colony habitat for the little colonists to survive, and lacking water and protection from the sun's solar radiation, they went into a natural state of lunar hibernation. Perhaps someday a generous lunar astronaut from the USA or China will provide a healthy habitat to bring back colonies of Tardigrades, thus making colonization of happy lunar companions.
