In this day and age we are just at the forefront of technology that can transfer parts of a human to machine and visa version. A machine cannot catch human virus and a human cannot catch a machine virus.
A machine virus can be filtered out and stopped through software and other means. The Big Brain AI has "machine in a machine" technology that can be purposed for missions inside the machine brain. The MIMs are much like self correcting nanoprobes that can be repurposed over and over again. MIMs can learn to remove machine virus and improve the function of the machine. As humans approach the Singularity of becoming one with the machine, such virus like Covid-19 will no longer be a threat. Another technological method is to create tiny purposed nanoprobes that are fed into the human body that can seek out and destroy copies of the Covid-19 virus. The Nanoprobe is still a growing technology in its infancy but will someday keep the human body in better condition and eradicate it of disease and malady.
