LITTLE BLUE ROBOTIC HELPING HAND

This little blue toy hand is so cute, it just had be interfaced to the Brain.

It can be moved with servos and has a truth table for 4-BIT communications in LBH hand sign language. Seen here during the setup process, the Little Blue Helping Hand can position inside one of the brain structures and talk sign language from the inside out. With a clear or open brain structure, many status details can be provided during brain functions. A small language set is also created. The photo shows the hand with a Tri-Core setup, though it also works well with Propellers and under Spin. The small blue hand can fit many smaller brains as well.

PROGRAMMING THE LBH LANGUAGE
The Little Blue Robot Hand communicates in LBH sign language. Programming is simple. First select the language set. The first bit sent is the language set selector. Then represent the bit pattern of a 4-bit language number. The example shows 6 languages and four bit positions to each "word." It's also possible to use IF-THEN constructs. Versatile LBH language works well with Spin and dozens of others.

MORSE CODE LANGUAGE
The Morse Code language set is represented by a 0 and 1, on or off, or short and long. With the Blue Hand, B is all digits open for long and C is Last two digits closed for short.

PLAYING A GAME
THE Blue Hand was designed to play the game of Rock Paper Scissors. The Truth Table for this game is give below. It too can be converted to a 4-bit byte and programmed.

THE EVERYTHING LIST
It can nudge a robot a small amount. It can repeatedly push. It can do several sign languages. It can send Morse Code by visual signaling. It can also cover an object, block light and infrared, reflect infrared, poke or stab, create shadows, and make contact. It can also play the game of Rock Paper Scissors.

Robotic Telescope Views Universe

Big Brain's Meade ETX-60AT Robotic Telescope
The Big Brain has several telescopes fully completed and operational. The most complete scaled experimental robotic telescope has full GOTO computerized features which are controllable by interfacing. The data base includes thousands of deep sky objects, goto features by RA and DEC and can hone in on planets, asteroids, comets, deep space positions, selected objects and the Moon. This telescope is a model Meade ETX-60AT, which is 60mm in diameter and a refractor design, ideal for testing robotic functions that may be used in a much larger telescope, in particular the ULT Ultra Large Telescope which is currently being designed by the Big Brain. Also under design is the opposite size telescope at the tiny end of the spectrum, a very small Telescope with unique features that only the Big Brain can utilize. Research with telescopes is an important part of the Big Brain program for purposes known only to the brain.

Brain Morpher

The Big Brain is working on the Morpher Project

The Big Brain has completed a small robot brain sibling (Morpher-8) with an eight core brain that can take care of a morphing situation. The software code to do the level of morphing is being tested and the servos are being attached. Brain Morpher uses SPIN programming language and runs autonomously by automatically shifting levels. This opens up new levels of robotic control for the Big Brain.

Discussion includes various ways to morph and transform and how a Big Brain can best serve this purpose with many I/Os and resources. The first Brain Morpher is using hardware to accomplish its goals. But the next Brain Morpher is very different, living inside the machine and changing its shape, form, and constituent elements. Machine Inside the Machine (MIM) technology was developed by the Big Brain and is a spectacular concept.
