When given the opportunity to access a hydroponics bay, the sentient plant immediately started growing new brain parts and sent those parts into the hydro wet nourishment abyss.

This resulted in over a handful of new existentialistic brain pathway stems forming a greater system network.

The plant began to send out brain shoots and has continued ever since the bay was available. This has resulted in more leaves, larger leaves, and a faster rate of growth. It's anticipated the plant brain will continue to grow, eventually amassing a much larger entangled web of thought pathways.

PLANTS HAVE BRAINS
Plants have a completely different anatomy from humans, therefore it's not surprising the plant brain can be found in their roots. The root system controls numerous and vital processes in the plant, even functioning as its “heart” by pumping water and nutrients across the whole plant. According to plant neurobiology, it is claimed that plants exhibit intelligent behavior, and that they possess internal control structures in many ways functionally similar to neuron-based control structures.

POTENTIAL PLANT BRAIN EXPERIMENTS
In this proposal for a future project, by Humanoido, a tap is generated into the plant brain using electrodynamic sensors and computerized real time microprocessor software to read the word states of the network and control structures. A system of brain thought language might be developed. Once the language is developed, a translator from plant language to English may be synthesized. This language would offer cross sectional spotlights of parametric communicative data commensurate with the plants spatial and time metabolics.

PLANT NEUROBIOLOGY
Plants are highly evolved multicellular creatures that must coordinate their behavior in responses to a wide variety of internal and external signals. One would expect that these creatures have evolved their own conductive devices for this purpose. In particular when the huge size of some plants is taken into account, the presence of long distance signaling seems to be essential and the functional need for a nervous system—or at least a neuroid system as described by Mackie—seems obvious.

PLANT TARGETS
The difference between plant neurobiology and other basic disciplines resides in the target of these interdisciplinary efforts. Plant neurobiology aims to achieve a scientific understanding of the integration of plant sensation and response. The target is the scientific understanding of how metabolism and growth can be regulated by the endogenous integration and processing of information. 

PLANT SIGNALING & THE ELECTROPHYSIOLOGICAL
Plant neurobiology stresses the integrated signaling and electrophysiological properties of plant networks of cells. As Balusˇka et al. (2006) point out: Each root apex is proposed to harbor brain-like units of the nervous system of plants. The number of root apices in the plant body is high, and all ‘‘brain units’’ are interconnected via vascular strands (plant neurons) with their polarly-transported auxin (plant neurotransmitter), to form a serial (parallel) neuronal system of

A method of creating machine neurons for a machine brain is implemented by Big Brain programmer Humanoido. Humanoido has created the equivalent of neurons using special expandable processors and algorithms. In the new brain scenario, processors with algorithms handle the function of a nervous system, processing for cytons, dendrites, and axions, which combine to form neuronal machine matter. With a new method, given the new speed of clouds and the Big Brain occupation, a new software neuron can be implemented.

Creating a software neuron is like a simulation of a neuron in cyberspace, except the cyber neurons are linkable and can function together as a single brain or an extension to an already massive brain. Such a trillion neuronal brain can execute beaming from the cloud to the human with an implanted interface through wireless means, amplifying the human mind by immense factors.

Last time we expected to handle questions regarding USB port, power requirements, spin off tech such as uploading things to a human brain that one would learn in school, a new way of space travel, how to teleport, and the addition of experiences and sensory information. Now let's continue the interview with Humanoido...

First, an update to the question about pain from the surgical interface implants into the human side of the body. In some cases there are small protruding sections of the machine sticking out of the human body and at night, moving around to attempt sleep is a sometimes difficult prospect as the devices are poked, pinched, bumped and weight is distributed in those locations in non-even ways. This can cause some very sight pain twinges but so far it's mostly insignificant and nothing to be alarmed about.

Q - How is the power handled?
A - On the human side, an implantable battery supplies micro-current to the interface beneath the flesh and on the machine side, a USB port charges the Cyborg components.

Q - What is the potential spin off of this technology?
A - I believe in the future, to learn a process such as Kung Fu, or Social Studies, you will simply upload a package for instant neural learning. This new type of learning will make schools obsolete for humans with the full range of Cyborg enhancements and enough installed memory to handle all the data.

Q - What are some new things being developed at Humanoido Labs in regard to this new man and machine merging?
A - We want to upload more than just numerical and image data. The system could be expanded by the upload and download of feelings, emotions, thoughts, dreams, memories and other sensory perceptions.

Q - How does this effect space travel?
A - Merging a human with a machine allows the brain and other parts of the human to enjoy teleportation beaming, through laser light, to other planets and places in the solar system, and to new star systems, all at the speed of light. This could obsolete rocket space travel.

We must free our minds from the containment of its infinitely fragile body containment.

HUMAN CAVEAT
The caveat as humans is that we are delicate, frail and fragile individuals with limitations of body and life. We have very short lives and are largely dependent on small ranges of temperature and pressure. We require a specific mix of breathable air, pure water, and special types of food.

SUSCEPTIBILITY OF HUMANS
We are susceptible to calamity, like volcanoes, earthquakes, meteor crashes, fire, nuclear and biological weapons, war, major catastrophes like tornadoes, hurricanes, typhoons, snow blizzards, cold and hypothermia, and other environment extremes. The sun can bake our skin. We need protection from IR, Xrays, Comic Rays, UV rays and other radiation.

We have trauma and suffering from pain, loss of friends and loved ones, injury, accidents, old age decrepitude, terminal illness, and our organs and body wear out resulting in handicapped, and eventual death and we cease to exist. We are dependent on environmental resources such as food and water which could become in short supply and we have huge intellectual limitations. We could easily follow the path of dinosaurs and become extinct at the moment of an asteroid impact.

HUMAN GOAL
The goal of humans is to improve ourselves, reduce and eliminate suffering, increase well being, live longer, be healthier, avoid disease, and have a better life.

SOLUTIONS
Solve aging, create cryogenics, grow body replacements, cloning human organs, use human organ transplants from donors, the use of anti-aging and cellular repair, nano technology to repair internal cells and correct defects, 

Transferring the mind, memories, experiences, will save the uniqueness of an individual. If we can save those, it will capture the essence of who we are.

If we can life on Mars and the Moon, some of us can avert extinction from an Earth bound asteroid, for example. We can change our environment and we can change in other ways.

Our information must be preserved. If transferring our information to another location, like Mars, will help preserve information then we have solutions.

If the human mind can be transferred to other vessels, then we have a more viable preservation solution.

TYPES OF DEATH
Humans may have a biological death, but if they are frozen with the potential to be awoken in the future, they may only seem dead. Living people who have Alzeimer's Disease may have complete loss of memories and data information of experiences and knowledge. They may become the living dead.

BACKUP
We know the importance of backup in the electronic digital world and how it effects the memories of hard drives, computers, cell phones and digital information. So backup should apply to humans as well. Are we not the most important information, the information of life, the information of a lifetime? Is this the most important type of information that we know which requires backup?

REDUNDANCY
The human brain has redundancy of its neurons but this is located in the head. If head or body trauma happens, the redundancy of the brain can be wiped out in a moment.

NEURAL DATA
A collection of neural data, extracted from a human brain and placed in say a computer, can have tests run on it. The data can be simulated and run in a simulation for cause and effect.

SLICES
Individual slicing of data sets may be obtained for more or less quantity.

RECONSTRUCTION ALGORITHMS
Algorithms may be applied to neural data run in simulations and on the neural data inside the machine transfer vessel.

AVOIDING TROUBLE
The Lab highly recommends working with non invasive means. Implants, invasive dectectors, invasive power sources, improper resolution, incomplete scans, electrode surgery, leaving components in the brain for a long time, not accessing enough neurons should be avoided.


NEW TECHNIQUES OF BRAIN ACCESS
Nanotechnology, Quantum dots, to access a much larger scale at higher resolution, turn biological signals into something that is easier to scan, High TESLA MRI (20 um), MNT Gear (to put a number of small machines into the brain).

IMPORTANCE OF DATA SELECTION
What is the actual data we need to get out of the brain? How do we represent the state of the mind? What are the transition functions that go from one state to another? What are the drivers that change the transition functions as we learn things? It is related to population activity, neuron spike times, or membrane potentials as they travel through morphology of neurons or elsewhere?

THE APPROACH TO LIFE

There are two trends of though to creating a new life form with present knowledge. First, it's possible to use programming to anticipate every possible contingency. This is a brute force method, and works well for specific isolated environments and knowledge bases.

Secondly, and this is the more difficult approach, to instill learning into the life form, so that it may learn on its own. For centuries, man has looked for the key to this quality. When will a robot life form have the ability to learn? How does one implement the algorithm to learning without the intervention of mankind?

Here at the Lab, the Big Brain machine initiative is working with both methods simultaneously, inside the machine brain, more or less. We still have a way to go in tuning a life form that can have birth and continuously learn the elements of life and living, interfacing with humans and functioning the world around us. On the other hand, the Big Brain, as a working machine brain, has already achieved success, though on a smaller scale.

A smaller scale success is because the number of neurons, while exceeding a few hundred thousand processors, a remarkable achievement by its own right, needs many more processors to increase the level of sophistication and function. Perhaps one should be satisfied with the levels of achievement from the Big Brain, but we are always pushing the envelope for more.

Currently we have worked to give the Big Brain a method of creativity to expand itself into its surrounding world, thereby suggesting the determination and fulfillment of its own initiatives.

Understanding the Big Brain

The map of the Big Machine Brain Project shows a Simplex Neuron (SN) with input and outputs and three possible states of Fire, a Zero, One or Limbo state. The Injector Cell Coating represents code to inject the SN into the Propeller Array (PA). The PA is currently subdivided into three smaller arrays called Partitions. Each Partition holds a maximum of fifty populated Parallax Propeller chips. The design handles an unlimited number of Partitions based on available resources. The rule of thumb is all Partitions must be fully populated except for the last Partition. The map with three Partitions show 150 Propeller chips. The small boxes represent Propeller chips and the red dots represent SN outputs. SN input is simply held static for testing. In testing, each red dot is a dedicated LED (see photos). In SL or Simple Loading, the Injectors distribute a single SN to each chip. The SN is cloned to every Propeller. Each Propeller works in unison with every other Propeller. Clocking is not an issue during neural matter activity. Each Propeller can run its own clock. Clocking is more of an issue during Neural Matter Injection NMI when all the Propellers are in Sync and handled specifically by the Neural Injection OverLord. SNs are made to do exampling Fire in any chosen state and set outputs. All SNs work together at the same time. This is primarily what is shown in the map. What is not shown are the representations of Cogs, clocks, 4,800K of distributed memory, EEPROMs and specific distribution wiring. To gain Cogs, multiply each red dot by eight. The map represents full loading of 1,250 small RISC processors and a 150 point to point display.

The success of the neuro "Simplex" processor in the Big Brain machine, with all its initial simplicity, became the model for growth from the first small brain that fit in a jar to the current largest brain that takes up the space of a full room.

This is very similar to the evolution of the human neo cortex. If you zoom up onto the surface of the Neo Cortex in a biological brain, you will find that it's made up of many little modules. These are like processors in a computer only there are a million in count. They were so successful in evolution, they ended up being duplicated over and over again until the brain ran out of space.

This is what happened to the Big Brain machine. Duplication, named cloning, of successful tiny processors, replicated until the memory simply ran out of space. Actually, with Parallax Propeller chips used, it was a factor of space X2 depending on chip speed (clock cycles) and chip memory allocation. In the first brain machines, these numbers approached and then exceeded 100,000 enhanced processors.

When the human brain ran out of space, the brain began to fold in on itself creating a highly convoluted surface and shape. Processor modules began to arrange in columns for greater packing so our human brains could have more new cortical columns to pack in more complex functions.

The Big Brain machine made from Parallax Propeller chips has packed processors on multiple layers of boards, surrounding an exo shape, and using distributed connections. The human brain took billions of years to evolve, while the electrical Big Brain has evolved over approximately a decade of time, beginning with much simpler chips.

The key to the universe of understanding the human brain, and the Holy Grail of neuro science, is understanding the design of the neo cortical columns in the human brain. The crux of AI and machine intelligence is the understanding of the enhanced "VP" processors in the Big Brain machine.

It's even more, and includes the understanding of perception, understanding reality, and the physical worlds that surround the brain. In the VP processor, it can become what we make it, in terms of size, arrangement, position, quantity, and functional programming. This is of course not enough, in that it must include all the rules of communication and fundamentally design and execute its own purpose. It is this connectivity in which the VP must choose carefully which VP it will communicate with.

In the Big Brain machine, the building of VPs are actual three dimensional models and physical entities that can morph and change shape in space and time. We learned that branches can be created that intersect in tens of thousands of locations and at each of these locations a dry active synapse is formed, i.e. an electrical location where VPs can communicate with each other. These synapses together form the network, which is a circuit and a fabric that holds a specific structure and pattern.

This is made to come alive with mathematical equations and algorithms with rules of collecting information, communicating with each other, and releasing their information when they reach the Synapse. You only need a few equations to simulate, replicate and create this activity in the Neo Cortex or the VPs regio of the Big Brain machine.

As the number of VPs increase, the need for processing power increases, so more and more chips are needed. In the Big Brain machine, the singular chip was examined to rewire its internals with software to repurpose its functional abilities leading to greater functioning. Basically you extend this process of enhancing and adding chips until you have a supercomputer. This is exactly what happened to the Big Brain machine.

With over a hundred thousand processors, you can ride the magic fabric of the brains space and time and discover things you never imagined. If you zoom into this regio closer you will see electrical patterns of pure thought and if you zoom in even further, it looks like a veritable universe. Experimentally, you take these Big Brain coordinates and project them into conceptual space. If you do this, one can step inside the reality that is created by the Big Brain machine.

These points of evolution of the machine brain as described are just the beginning to become fully aware of itself, which undoubtedly is one of the first steps to the creation of a new higher order life form.

A lot more work remains to be done to test various theories and prove the functioning of higher and higher levels of activity and thought, thus developing greater levels of semi awareness and cognitive activities.
