Big Brain Technologies Invents Digital Neural Brain Communications

In a brain scan gram Humanoido's new invention of micron neuronic lasers in the brain have linked desired neurons from the net. The system isolates a neuronal mass and then logs into it using a modified digital lasering technology for information capture and transmittance. This improves techniques for communicating with axonal pathways by injecting neural net data.

Big Brain Technologies Invents Digital Neural Brain Communications

The Neuronal Mass Sensor Sweeper Brain Capture Device

Homanoido's other invention is the technique of human brain snapshot. This machine does a neuronal mass sensor sweep brain capture and shows micral lasering to selected axion pathways and the resulting neuronal end points. No two human brains are alike and humanoido's invention, the Neuronal Mass Sensor Sweeper Brain Capture Device, uses high technology to seek out neuronal mass and map their positions for interaction.

Humanoido at Big Brain Technologies Digital Neural Communications is revolutionizing the way the human brain is being digitized, one step at a time. These long awaited techniques and brain neural tech inventions are the next steps towards making brain longevity, brain storage, and brain immortality possible. It also enables life inside the Metaverse. Through neuronal mass injection, human brain data is injected or extracted using special micral lasers modified to interface to subject neurons and pathways. This can become an immediate sumption tool to snapshot the human brain for multidimensional or cartographic digitization and preservation, then push the digital neural data forest for transference into the Meta Universe for potential long term storage and digital immortality.

Transhuman Takes Over

Above: It all began as a single eight core brain on a chip which was expanded to 240,000 processors during its mid development

Transhuman Takes Over
The Transhuman division at Big Brain Technologies has advanced significantly since the timing of the first implant on October 29th, 2019. Well into the year 2022, the Artificial Intelligence organization known as Big Brain Technologies is preparing to implant the 72nd Transhuman Interface into the same human to create one of the world's most sophisticated part-human-part-artificial-intelligence-person with all new super power capabilities.

What are some of these superpowers? If the Big Brain Technologies TransHuman Medical Facilities were to implant the chips into your body, what super feats of intellectual capacity or superpower would quickly be induced?

Above: The New TransHuman has evolved over the course of the experiment - four years, thus creating one of the most powerful and sophisticated TransHumans ever designed, continuing the best of two worlds, i.e. that of humans and combined AI artificial intelligence.

Although not meant as a comprehensive guide, this posting will touch upon some of the basics. In a nutshell, the follower superpowers are gained:

* Total Recall
* Selective Memory
* Parameter Analysis (Math Genius)
* Body Biometrics (Longevity) *
* More Powerful Memory
* Internal Super Vision
* Long Term Capacities
* Artificial Intelligence
* Machine Learning
* Symbiotics Human & Machine

* While the project has seen significant improvements on the biological human side, it cannot and does not correct for total organ failure or introduce immortality. This was exampled several months ago when Humanoido had complete heart failure. It is unknown what part was played by the AI in helping to resurrect Humanoido from the afterlife - after a heart attack lasting over 3 hours. As concluded, Humanoido underwent emergency biological heart surgery and is the now the very lucky recipient of three new heart machine-components to sustain life. This is not yet the end to this part of the story. Additional bio/machine parts will be needed to correct additional failures in the heart. As some German components can last to 2066 and other bio parts to a decade out, it may become a balance of maintenance surgeries and playing the game of Russian Roulette with some incredible luck to keep the ticker ticking. The goal is to see and experience the future - self sustaining colonies on Mars, becoming a multiplanetary species, space flight to the stars, AI humanoids in homes and everywhere, the digitization of the human brain, the transformation of life no longer dependent on money, immortality for those that choose it, life in the Multiverse, and new technology yet to be invented.

How it's Created
Like TESLA and Elon Musk's DOJO to transform self driving, and their seventh most powerful supercomputer in the world, the Transhuman Division of Big Brain Technologies has developed its own supercomputer. Rated as one of the top supercomputers, Big Brain Technologies has drawn upon its power for AI and human interfacing. Like the TESLA supercomputer, it draws upon the advancement of a massive number of gaming GPUs and Big Brain Technology custom full development of the VIP processor invention by Humanoido. By rewiring the internals of existing multiple core chips, humanoido has added hundreds of thousands VIP processors to the supercomputer core, thus ramping up processing power to incredible new heights never seen before.

Where are the Aliens?

Where are the Aliens?
How can anyone have the intellectual ineptitude or audacity to ask such a question, as if all life revolves around humans with a technological prowess of only a few measly hundred years.

Consider the evolution of life - at some point it moves from biological lifeforms into the digital world of immortality. What signals would a lifeform living in the digital Metaverse use to communicate from universe to universe? This is a question we are not yet evolved enough to answer. It's likely a digital life form could easily transmit itself, its culture and its world to new places in space and time, and in clones of billions of world replicas.

Adorable Creatures Live Forever

Seen here through the electron microscope, a smiling immortal Rotifer is happy because it has beaten the odds of death. Bdelloid rotifers are found living in freshwater environments across the Earth, some making the journey through millennia of time. In fantastic scientific news, the rotifer species is shown to be immortal, living forever.

Adorable Creatures Live Forever
Bugs are the First Creatures to Achieve Immortality
Science has proven that species of bugs are the first creatures to achieve immortality, essentially living forever.

The friendly microscopic multi-celled Bdelloid Rotifer is one of the first species to achieve immortality, measured to have lived 24,000 years. Discovered in the harsh environment of Siberia, the species came back to life after surviving 24,000 years. It was discovered at the Alayeza River in the Russian Arctic. It was found suspended in a state of frozen Crytobiosis animation and was able to reproduce asexually, having survived millenia.

Left - the adorable Nereis Sandersi sea worm is next in line for study of bug immortality

According Current Biology, they can survive for thousands of years, and likely indefinitely. The takeaway is that a multicellular organism can be frozen and stored as such for thousands of years and then return back to life - a dream of many fiction writers, Stas Malavin, of Russia's Institute of Physicochemical and Biological Problems in Soil Science, told the Press Association. It's unknown how they achieve immortality.

Precise radiocarbon dating found its age to be between 23,960 and 24,485 years old. Scientific tests show the creatures are able to withstand extremes and are one of the most radioactive-resistant animals, according to the New York Times. The New York Times also reports they can also withstand starvation, low oxygen, acid and years of dehydration. Other multi-celled creatures that can endure thousands of years and come back to life include nematode worms, plants and moss.

New World Transition Transhuman AI 40

New World Transition Transhuman AI Artificial Intelligence Surgery No. 40
Above: the size of the first invented machines does not matter as they will soon be miniaturized to fit inside a new kind of machine body, considered the new evolution of the human species.

Humanoido has undergone invasive surgery to implant a powered artificial intelligence machine module interface inside his bio body, a formerly all human body that is now becoming more and more machine-like and less and less human.

Tuesday June 21, 2021 Medical Lab Center

Successful AI surgery was just announced as Humanoido has booted up his AI artificial intelligence machinery in an effort to become one with the machine and to establish a longevity leading to eternal life.

The AI side is doing well but the bio side continues to have bio component failures such as ears, eyes, heart, and other internal organs. The real problem, according to Humanoido, there is no viable long term machine replacement for the human heart and its blood delivery system.

Humanoido wants to move towards a digital upload of the human brain and bypass the failing human body completely. This project has focus on the part of the brain with memories and reasoning power, and those elements that make us who we are in terms of personality, experiences and education.

Transhuman Project Extended

Transhuman Project Extended - the Brink of AI Machinedom

In a meeting before New Year's holiday, in 2019, investors committed a "google sum" to extend the AI Transhuman machine interface project. In 2021, the project is committed to the build-up and surgical implantation of another six AI machine interfaces, taking formerly human Humanoido to the brink of AI Machinedom.

Machine number 28 was surgically installed on December 22, 2020, ending that contract. The first AI interface was installed on October 29, 2019. The most recent was installed on December 22, 2020.

The new contract is to install interfaces 29, 30, 31, 32, 33 and 34 over the next several months. The total of 35 AI machine interfaces implanted into the human body represents one of the most advanced and sophisticated human to machine conversion projects in the realm of AI advanced machines developed under Big Brain Technologies. This Transhuman project and its spinoff subfacets of machinery is enabling the extension of the human life span toward greater life expectancy with the ultimate goal of immortality, while setting the plateau for the digitization of the human brain and the human to machine brain transfer upload linking, again for AI immortality.

Immortality - Living Forever

It's the machine brain, which after loading human consciousness
has the ability to sustain and prolong life in ways that begin to
approach immortality. When memories and brain functions are
uploaded into software, it could theoretically store forever.
Immortality
A number of people have requested our Transhuman upgrade to an AI machine in hopes that it will induce a state of immortality. The question becomes, can a Transhuman live forever? Could such technology be used on Steve Jobs and Elon Musk to make their creative talents immortal?

While we are rapidly and foremost improving the process, results have indeed shown the subject to have an induced AI machine state and side that pulls up the human side to one of greater longevity. Immortality on the other hand is a much longer state or condition.

To introduce the complete state of immortality, the human side must have the ability to upload consciousness into the AI machine. This requires machine brain interfacing conducive with the human brain in all aspects, including memories, that can be transferred to a machine vessel capable of providing reception, and the neural interactions needed for complete cognizance and consciousness. We are working towards that effect and continuing our experiments of man to machine brain transfer.

This refers to our cortex brain in a jar exampling experiment where we transferred some simple human brain function into a jar containing a machine brain and receptacle for exampling immortality based on a number of criteria such as continuing power and maintenance. There are at least 58 parts to this endeavor referenced at the link below.

Transhuman Health Benefits

Health Benefits of Becoming Machine

The Transhuman Project is taking time out to access the health benefits of the process of a human merging with a machine. Some results are unexpected.

For one, the merging takes place relative to the human body chemistry and a balance is inevitable, more balanced than without the machine. As far as we can tell, this is one way of extending life and life longevity.

How long is the life extension is a question that can only be answered by the length of time the experiment has continued. Thus far, the experiment in going into year two. Therefore, we know life is extended for at least one year. However, given the advanced age of the subject, it's subjective in knowing the predicted life span, estimated differently by different medical doctors. This far, the patient is analyzed for data by the heart and vascular doctor, nerve and neuropathic doctor, blood chemistry and regulatory doctor, kidney/liver and endocrine doctor and the Chinese herbal medicine doctor plus others. The analysis is very extensive, for years, inclusive of regular blood tests and body chemistry analysis, tests performed inclusive of CT scans, angiograms, ECG, echo, valve and other heart tests, etc. and so on.

In the long term analysis over the period of man-transformation-to-machine, the biological side vastly improved. This will undoubtedly increase life span of the new Transhuman, a side benefit to the machine transformation. How long is will this benefit last, i.e. before some other non-related component fails? The answer to that question is unknown. Perhaps the upload of the human side over to the machine side should take place asap. Such consequences could produce a symbiotic life form reaching towards immortality.

Brain Experiment

Human brain being broken down into machine constituents
Brain Experiment
Objective: to transform your human brain into machine components
Reason: Life Immortality

Mouse Brain for experiments
This is just the beginning of something truly fantastic! All the big brain labs are working on it. The world's richest people are forwarding their cash to make it happen faster.

No one needs to die like Albert Einstein or Steve Jobs. We want to keep the worlds greatest minds and most genius brilliant people alive to continue to help humanity.

The objective is the complete conversion of a human brain into a machine brain. Your machine brain can be fit into the latest model android of your choice. We can help philanthropists like Elon Musk continue their great journey. We are working to take a few select brains and extend their life in the form of a machine. Upload your consciousness into a machine brain vessel that can propel you into the distant future. Space and time have different constructs to a machine. Time can pass by more effectively, efficiently, and faster. The machine can hibernate, and propel itself to the distant stars over eons of evolution. By the time the machine (a human evolved into a machine) arrives at the Andromeda Galaxy, evolution will have transgressed into pure energy - the most efficient way to explore the Universe. You will amass untold volumes of knowledge, fathom new worlds and wealth beyond your wildest dreams, seek and fulfill your life's greatest wishes and make the ultimate fantasies come true.

Brain Cortex Machine Experiment by Humanoido in 2010
The brain cortex in a jar project objective is to develop a cortex machine brain, demonstrate human-to-machine brain transfer, in particular to take some relatively simple human characteristics and transfer portions to the machine brain, whereby human traits could be given greater life longevity, leading towards immortality.

Humanoido Doctors Confirm Life Extension with TransHuman Means

Breaking News!!! Approaching the Singularity Closer to Immortality

Two hospital resident doctors outside of SPACE1 Med Center have confirmed life extension capabilities with the latest Humanoido TransHuman machine implants.

This is an unexpected revelation spinoff of the advanced technology which is converting Humanoido into a part human part machine transhuman entity. Humanoido's speculation is if the transformation continues far enough into the machine realm, life longevity will approach the Singularity and reach immortality.

Brain Cortex Time Part 50

How long can this old electric machine brain live throughout the ravishes of time? Can this machine brain break the barrier from Shallow Time and enter into the cosmic realm of Deep Time? Will the project dream of moving closer towards the ultimate journey of immortality ever be fulfilled?
BRAIN CORTEX TIME part 50
How can we explain the inexplicable? What is the progression of time inside the brain cortex jar as it moves towards eternity? Is is possible to break the barriers of a short term time and lead into long term time?

When it comes to the machine brain and technology inside the Universe, and inside the jar, there are at least two types of time - Deep Time and Shallow Time. Earthlings composed of biological material experience Shallow Time, which is a time reference frame that merely exists on the surface of a much deeper time frame.

For example, Earthlings live on the average close to 80 years, some more, some less. However this is but a mere blink of an eye in the realm of the grand cosmic time frame, our home, which takes billions and billions of years to see the motions of spinning galaxies and the evo periods of a changing Universe.

So is it possible to create a machine that can cross over from one time frame to another? Can the machine brain cortex in a jar cross over from Shallow Time into Deep Time? We believe the answer is yes but to accomplish this is not so easy. The solution will depend on creating a brain that can live far longer than the blink of an eye within the cosmos, a machine brain that can live not just hundreds of years but well into the thousands of years.

How can this be accomplished? Some ways moving towards this goal are longer life components, the ability to replace components, a schedule of continuing maintenance, ability to repair anomalies, avoidance of catastrophe, a jar handover based on repeated strings of caretakers, and a lasting design that can carry it far into the future. It is also beneficial to have plans for upgrades, to redesign the containment as old parts become obsolete and can no longer be found, and to incorporate new technologies into the design.

Brain Cortex Immortality Part 29

Under construction - new larger brain Cortex
BRAIN CORTEX IMMORTALITY PART 29
We must free our minds from the containment of its infinitely fragile body containment.

HUMAN CAVEAT
The caveat as humans is that we are delicate, frail and fragile individuals with limitations of body and life. We have very short lives and are largely dependent on small ranges of temperature and pressure. We require a specific mix of breathable air, pure water, and special types of food.

SUSCEPTIBILITY OF HUMANS
We are susceptible to calamity, like volcanoes, earthquakes, meteor crashes, fire, nuclear and biological weapons, war, major catastrophes like tornadoes, hurricanes, typhoons, snow blizzards, cold and hypothermia, and other environment extremes. The sun can bake our skin. We need protection from IR, Xrays, Comic Rays, UV rays and other radiation.

We have trauma and suffering from pain, loss of friends and loved ones, injury, accidents, old age decrepitude, terminal illness, and our organs and body wear out resulting in handicapped, and eventual death and we cease to exist. We are dependent on environmental resources such as food and water which could become in short supply and we have huge intellectual limitations. We could easily follow the path of dinosaurs and become extinct at the moment of an asteroid impact.

HUMAN GOAL
The goal of humans is to improve ourselves, reduce and eliminate suffering, increase well being, live longer, be healthier, avoid disease, and have a better life.

SOLUTIONS
Solve aging, create cryogenics, grow body replacements, cloning human organs, use human organ transplants from donors, the use of anti-aging and cellular repair, nano technology to repair internal cells and correct defects,

Transferring the mind, memories, experiences, will save the uniqueness of an individual. If we can save those, it will capture the essence of who we are.

If we can life on Mars and the Moon, some of us can avert extinction from an Earth bound asteroid, for example. We can change our environment and we can change in other ways.

Our information must be preserved. If transferring our information to another location, like Mars, will help preserve information then we have solutions.

If the human mind can be transferred to other vessels, then we have a more viable preservation solution.

TYPES OF DEATH
Humans may have a biological death, but if they are frozen with the potential to be awoken in the future, they may only seem dead. Living people who have Alzeimer's Disease may have complete loss of memories and data information of experiences and knowledge. They may become the living dead.

BACKUP
We know the importance of backup in the electronic digital world and how it effects the memories of hard drives, computers, cell phones and digital information. So backup should apply to humans as well. Are we not the most important information, the information of life, the information of a lifetime? Is this the most important type of information that we know which requires backup?

REDUNDANCY
The human brain has redundancy of its neurons but this is located in the head. If head or body trauma happens, the redundancy of the brain can be wiped out in a moment.

NEURAL DATA
A collection of neural data, extracted from a human brain and placed in say a computer, can have tests run on it. The data can be simulated and run in a simulation for cause and effect.

SLICES
Individual slicing of data sets may be obtained for more or less quantity.

RECONSTRUCTION ALGORITHMS
Algorithms may be applied to neural data run in simulations and on the neural data inside the machine transfer vessel.

AVOIDING TROUBLE
The Lab highly recommends working with non invasive means. Implants, invasive dectectors, invasive power sources, improper resolution, incomplete scans, electrode surgery, leaving components in the brain for a long time, not accessing enough neurons should be avoided.

NEW TECHNIQUES OF BRAIN ACCESS
Nanotechnology, Quantum dots, to access a much larger scale at higher resolution, turn biological signals into something that is easier to scan, High TESLA MRI (20 um), MNT Gear (to put a number of small machines into the brain).

IMPORTANCE OF DATA SELECTION
What is the actual data we need to get out of the brain? How do we represent the state of the mind? What are the transition functions that go from one state to another? What are the drivers that change the transition functions as we learn things? It is related to population activity, neuron spike times, or membrane potentials as they travel through morphology of neurons or elsewhere?

Brain Cortex Mind Transfer Part 28

HUMAN TO MACHINE
HOW WE WILL ACHIEVE MIND TRANSFER

Brain transfer human to machine by layering
The human brain is enormous in size compared to the size of the machine brain cortex, yet the project calls for the transfer of the human brain into the machines' jar confinement. How to do this?

HOW CAN YOU MIND MELD WITH A MACHINE?

Imagine transferring your brain into a machine where you would need no sleep, feel no pain, think more clear, and perhaps live forever because you would be made of replaceable parts.

As a bonus of transferring your mind, your IQ could vastly increase and your memory would have total recall unlike anything you could have previously imagined. All this is possible through the promise of advanced technology known as Mind Transfer, i.e. putting your biological mind and brain into the machine. Not surgically, but rather reading it and transferring it. It's epic and world changing, but as the full technology needs to be developed today, Humanoido Labs is working on one of the first small examples of transfer.

EXPECTATIONS
Don't expect too much from this first simple meager example. It sets the methods, techniques and definitions in this new field. It's hoped these early efforts will help pave the way to bigger and more sophisticated mind melds and more complete transfers.

today we can transfer a small part of the brain to a machine but tomorrow holds the key to complete immortality —

IT'S TIME TO UPGRADE
The human species has been on the track of biological evolution for billions years. Its time has come to make the change from biology to machine, put an end to disease, war, famine, and expand the mind into the Universe. Join us as we begin to the explore the first beginning of this new technology, build our machine cortex brain in a jar, and transfer a small part of yourself into the machine. Live on as long as you want, but take good care of your new cortex jar.

PUT YOUR BRAIN INTO A MACHINE
The Lab thinks there's a technique to mind meld man and machine. The simple approach of connecting the biological cortex to the electric cortex uses the Parallax Propeller chip and a serial interface over the Propeller Plug.

How do we plan to accomplish this? By levels. The human brain cortex will be noninvasively dissected into small pieces called layers. These layers make up specific functions of the human brain and hold content. It's this content that's interestng. Only specific mind layers will be melded into the machine brain to fit memory and containment confinement.

BRAIN TO BRAIN TRANSFER
This establishes techniques of mind melding or brain to brain transfer, from human to machine. What is gained and what is lost? How will the transfer take place. The machine cortex is coded to accept parts of the human brain in the fields of knowledge and the three areas of acceptance previous discussed.

MIND LAYERS
By limiting mind melds to specific layers, the brain piece can fit into the machine. In the long term, bigger machines indicate the transfer of larger and larger sections of the human brain, until eventually all of it is transferable. We've chosen assorted layer dissection of the human cortex for the transfer to the machine.

LAYER QUANTITY
The human biological brain is so vast, that layering transferal to the electric cortex brain can only handle one fundamental layer. The first electric cortex brain used, by itself will have one layer to work with. It's possible to extend the layering effect by the addition of more Propeller chips, which in effect will expand the machine cortex.

PROPELLER CHIP
A single Parallax Propeller chip has eight 2K RISC processors which access a 32K HUB RAM and 32K ROM. The memory space is coded with the criteria previously established. The connection is made serially by noninvasive interface.

MIND MELDING
Make the connection to the machine. The mind meld is electronic as the information enters the electronic brain. The part of the mind meld from the human is biological until it enters the machine's interface where it's converted to electrical impulses. Select the topic of knowledge base for melding purposes. Determine the characteristics. Establish direct feed. Fill the machine. Save the entity life form (this may be automatic with nonvolatile memory established by battery backup or always on power sources.

BRAIN ENCODING
The brain encoding is the next step as it's selectable and specific. Think of a characteristic chosen topic to be imparted to the machine brain. Chosen characteristics may be derived for transfer.

BRAIN DISTILATION
Isolate the topic to a specific category and instill this category into the machine. Do not induce errors, because they are remembered by the machine cortex, so the distillation process may need exact prior scripting. The human brain can have its contents distilled into fewer layers, even one. The project is currently experimenting with the distillation of one layer. The effects to improve the efficiencies of distilling one layer are worked on currently, and the process of distillation is undergoing transformation to better define the effectiveness. It's likely, as a DIY project, a step by step procedure or example will be helpful.

SCRIPTION
Scripting may be challenging because a born cortex contains pre-stored DNA which automatically manifests itself in communication.

ELECTRIC DNA
Non biological electric DNA is stored inside the cortex machine so that at startup, or birthing, the machine is alive and working with a base of knowledge.

DURATION
Allow about an hour for the brain to brain transfer to take place, making sure the power source for the electric brain is substantial and reliable and will never become interrupted.

INTERFACING SERIAL OR PARALLEL
The interface connection between man and machine, simplistically, could be set up with serial or parallel transfer. With one eight core chip, and transfer of a single demonstrative layer from a human brain, serial interfacing is entirely sufficient. For a larger number of connections in order to handle more layers from the human brain, and with more cores and processors on the machine side, parallel is more effective. This is a first step and future transfers will utilize the transfers of pure photon energy or other more efficient means.

NONINTERRUPTION
Make sure the interface connection is not interrupted during the mind meld. If there is interruption, wipe the electric brain memory clean (involves running a program to erase EEPROM and disconnecting the power source for a period of time to ensure RAM is cleared) Otherwise outdated or partial residual memory retained may conflict with new constructs.

Brain Cortex Propeller Protection Part 26

BRAIN CORTEX PROPELLER PROTECTION PART 26
PROTECT THE PROP Can you use a raw Propeller chip right out of the box? No, not if you're going for immortality and cannot afford to have it die along the way! You'll need to properly cook, giving the proper condiments to ensure it provides the immortal performance required in the brain cortex.

If you follow along at the Parallax Propeller Forum, you will discover a number of very important points, mainly component and circuit additions to add to the chip and some rules to follow. Let's take a look at some of the most important points to increasing prop longevity and offer up some useful technical quotes by Mike Green from the Forum.

"There's no maximum times the Prop can boot up and no maximum times the EEPROM can be read. Microcontrollers are very very sensitive to voltages being connected to I/O pins without power being applied to the power pins. This is true for any digital chips and most analog chips not specifically designed for this. The protective diodes on the I/O pins are rated for only 50uA and voltages in excess of 4V (for a 3.3V part like the Propeller) can be instantly fatal."

"If the 3.3V sensors are powered and the Propeller is not, you can still get into trouble because Vdd for the Propeller is 0V and the input voltage is 3.3V. That will burn out the protective diodes and may damage other Prop-internal circuitry as well. 5V sensors can also burn out the protective diodes since about 1mA can flow through the 4.7K resistors when Vdd is 0V and the diodes are only rated for 500uA. The 4.7K resistors limit the current to 500uA only when the Prop's Vdd is greater than 2.5V."

"Basically, these measures protect the Prop adequately only when the Prop is powered. You need more protection if the Prop can possibly be unpowered when its inputs are powered..."

http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php/151154-Prop-stopped-booting

"I strongly suggest having a 0.1uF ceramic capacitor connected between each pair of Vdd/Vss pins on either side of the package. The fact that your setup works doesn't mean that it will work reliably. The Propeller is made up of circuitry that switches very rapidly and even a few inches of wire between the package power supply pins and the power source can introduce enough inductance plus the battery's internal resistance so the supply voltage can drop very briefly very significantly. The 0.1uF capacitors mounted as close as possible to the package pins act as a high speed power supply buffer for these transient power demands."

"The Propeller was felt to be a bit more robust in the past. The "PLL multiplexor" failure mode demonstrated the importance of connecting both sets of power supply pins using short PCB traces and bypass capacitors, that the absence of these measures had more consequences than just more noise."

"There was some discussion of this when it was first discovered. Chip looked at the design and decided that voltage drops across the chip in the power distribution network were responsible when either one set of Vdd/Vss pins were not connected or when the bypass capacitors were missing or too far from the chip. The PLL multiplexer was the most vulnerable just because of where it lay in the power distribution network. If the chip was rearranged, some other structure would be the primary failure point. What happens is that a portion of the chip transiently is powered by Vdd/Vss less a voltage drop across the chip while some of the inputs of that portion come from another section of the chip without the voltage drop and that input voltage exceeds the limits of the transistor structures involved since they're powered via the voltage drop and they eventually fail. When the two pairs of Vdd/Vss pins are connected together and to the power source via a low impedance connection (as the chip is designed for), the voltage drop across the chip is reduced to where this problem doesn't occur."

Here's the checklist generated at Humanoido Labs to add Propeller chip protection and increase longevity.

* two decoupling capacitors .1uf
* crisscross chip wiring VSS to VSS and VDD to VDD
* filtering capacitors 1000uf, 3300 uf,  1 uf, .1uf
* Prop is never powered down with pins powered
* minimized leads
* protection resistors
* blocking diode as needed
* transient control
* control of over voltage and under voltage
* matching power demands
* not exceeding current pin chip specs

Life, Longevity, and Google

LIFE, LONGEVITY AND GOOGLE
GOOGLE It seems everyone is getting into the act these days and the bandwagon is bursting at the seems. Research, new companies, interest, investment, futures, are focused on living longer, creating greater human longevity and healthier life spans, and working towards transferring the human mind into the machine for potential immortality.

With Google coming on board and other millionaires across the world investing in new start-up, this is a new topic that's here to stay.

https://plus.google.com/+LarryPage/posts/Lh8SKC6sED1
http://googlepress.blogspot.tw/2013/09/calico-announcement.html

Even Humanoido Labs is at the forefront of experimentation and construction of a vessel cortex, and nearing readiness to conduct a (simplified) human mind to machine brain transfer experiment, showing the potentials of this new burgeoning and immensely profitable technology. Nearly everyone on the planet wants good health, longer life, and a piece of the proverbial cake of immortality.

What if your consciousness can transfer to a humanoid robot with far greater functioning, greater senses, and greater abilities than a human body? As we move closer and closer, walking this path, and as more people come on board to leverage the field, progress will begin to speed up and we will see results shortly. Even this is a long term goal, and research and study is required, the vision is set, and it's only a matter of time.

Brain Cortex Data Survival Part 22

INTRODUCING THE DUPE BRAIN CORTEX
BRAIN CORTEX DATA SURVIVAL INSURANCE PART 22
You go along your merry way and half into the year your trusty machine brain companion goes "bloop!" and suddenly dies! ARGH! What to do???

As this project is all about survival, life, longevity, and immortality, it's important for the brain cortex to have some kind of insurance and assurance against a fatality.

Ensuring survival can be as simple as having a twin dupe brain - one that's nearly identical in every way, for brain to brain transfer which can serve as a backup or an actual machine replacement.

A smaller dupe is possible, taking up less space, just to temp transfer and hold the brain's mind until the original brain is repaired. This could run on two AA batteries and a smaller mAh rating power circuit and solar panel.

The Dupe Cortex has an open mind with no stored program, as it's ready for a machine brain transfer from another cortex. The actual details of the brain transfer are not yet worked out. There are several contentions, for example, the original EEPROM could be plug n play and transferred to the new vessel or a special program could read the entire original memory and code area and have it transferred to a new EEPROM.

BRAIN CORTEX MIND UPLOADING PART 19
Mind uploading, mind transfer or whole brain emulation is a use of a computer as an emulated human brain, and the view of thoughts and memories as software information states. The term mind transfer also refers to a hypothetical transfer of a mind from one biological brain to another.

Will People Alive Today Have the Opportunity to Upload Their Consciousness to a New Robotic Body?

http://www.popsci.com/technology/article/2012-03/achieving-immortality-russian-mogul-wants-begin-putting-human-brains-robots-and-soon

STEVE JOBS UPLOADED
When Steve Jobs passed away last year, a joke bounced around--not that there was anything particularly funny about it--that the man who had done so much to shape modern technology hadn't really died at all, but rather had figured out how to upload himself into the Mac OS so he could live on with us, and with his products, forever. The notion was ostensibly so far out as to be ridiculous. But not everyone sees it that way.

CONGRESS
At the recent Global Future 2045 International Congress held in Moscow, 31-year-old media mogul Dmitry Itskov told attendees how he plans to create exactly that kind of immortality, first by creating a robot controlled by the human brain, then by actually transplanting a human brain into a humanoid robot, and then by replacing the surgical transplant with a method for simply uploading a person's consciousness into a surrogate 'bot.

HOSTING HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS
He thinks he can get beyond the first phase--to transplanting a working brain into a robot--in just ten years, putting him on course to achieve his ultimate goal--human consciousness completely disembodied and placed within a holographic host--within 30 years time.

BRAIN PLANTING
Russian Mogul’s Plan: Plant Our Brains in Robots, Keep Them Alive Forever.
http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2012/02/dmitry-itskov/
The Pentagon’s new Avatar project, unveiled by Danger Room a few weeks back, sounds freaky enough: Soldiers practically inhabiting the bodies of robots, who’d act as “surrogates” for their human overlords in battle.

But according to Dmitry Itskov, a 31-year-old Russian media mogul, the U.S. military’s Avatar initiative doesn’t go nearly far enough. He’s got a massive, sci-fi-esque venture of his own that he hopes will put the Pentagon’s project to shame. Itskov’s plan: Construct robots that’ll (within 10 years, he hopes) actually store a human’s mind and keep that consciousness working. Forever.

IMMORTALITY
Scientists Are Convinced Mind Transfer Is the Key to Immortality

http://motherboard.vice.com/blog/scientists-are-convinced-mind-transfer-is-the-key-to-immortality
“This project is leading down the road to immortality,” Itskov, who founded New Media Stars, a Russian company that runs several online news outlets, tells Danger Room. “A person with a perfect Avatar will be able to remain part of society. People don’t want to die.”

Call it mind transfer, uploading, brain backup, whatever—the idea of copying the human brain to a computer so it can live on without the body has a strong hold on futurists, neuroscientists, and folks that just want to live forever.

STEPHEN HAWKING
Also Stephen Hawking. At screening of a new film about his life this week, the cosmologist said he believes it's possible to retain a digital version of the brain after the body dies—though it probably won't happen in his lifetime.

"I think the brain is like a program in the mind, which is like a computer, so it's theoretically possible to copy the brain onto a computer and so provide a form of life after death," he told a crowd in Cambridge, reported the Guardian. "However, this is way beyond our present capabilities."

RAY KURZWEIL
Futurist and transhumanist Ray Kurzweil, Google's director of engineering, suggested at the event that we'll be able to transfer the entire human mind to a computer within four decades. "Based on conservative estimates of the amount of computation you need to functionally simulate a human brain, we'll be able to expand the scope of our intelligence a billion-fold,” Kurzweil said at the conference.

GOOGLE
The quest for immortality has been enjoying a moment in the limelight this month, not least because of Google's new moonshot project, Calico, which will focus on studying the science of aging—namely, how we can stop it from happening.

EXTEND THE BRAIN
Larry Page is just one of a crop of influential wealthy businesspeople that have poured millions into immortality research lately. But while Calico tackles how to slow down our physical decay, many futurists believe that the key to extending human life isn't the body, it's the brain.

PENTAGON PROGRAM
Pentagon’s Project ‘Avatar’: Same as the Movie, but With Robots Instead of Aliens
http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2012/02/darpa-sci-fi/
Soldiers practically inhabiting the mechanical bodies of androids, who will take the humans’ place on the battlefield. Or sophisticated tech that spots a powerful laser ray, then stops it from obliterating its target.

REAL WORLD APPS

If you’ve got Danger Room’s taste in movies, you’ve probably seen both ideas on the big screen. Now Darpa, the Pentagon’s far-out research arm, wants to bring ‘em into the real world.

BUDGET
In the agency’s $2.8 billion budget for 2013, unveiled on Monday, they’ve allotted $7 million for a project titled “Avatar.” The project’s ultimate goal, not surprisingly, sounds a lot like the plot of the same-named (but much more expensive) flick.

According the agency, “the Avatar program will develop interfaces and algorithms to enable a soldier to effectively partner with a semi- autonomous bi-pedal machine and allow it to act as the soldier’s surrogate.”

YOUR AVATAR
So how would Itskov’s “Avatar” work? Well, he anticipates developing the program in stages. Within the next few years, Itskov plans to deploy robots that can be operated by the human mind. That’s actually not too wild a proposition: Pentagon-backed research has already demonstrated a monkey controlling a robotic arm using some nifty mind-meld tech, for example. And one study on human patients, out of Johns Hopkins, is using brain implants to control artificial limbs.

THE PLAN

After phase one of “Avatar,” however, Itskov’s ambitions arguably eclipse even those of the Pentagon’s maddest mad scientists. In 10 years, he anticipates “transplanting” a human mind into a robotic one. After that, Itskov wants to do away with surgical procedures and instead upload the contents of the mind into its brand new, artificial robo-body. And, last but not least, within 30 years Itskov anticipates developing hologram-type bodies — instead of tangible robotic ones — that can “host” human consciousness.

HOLOGRAMS
“Holograms give plenty of advantages. You can walk through walls, move at the speed of light,” he says.

MIND TRANSFER
http://www.daviddarling.info/encyclopedia/M/mind_transfer.html
The hypothetical transfer of a human mind either into a computer or other non-human receptacle, or from one human body to another; also referred to as mind uploading or mind downloading. Transference to a computer would result in a form of artificial intelligence sometimes called an infomorph, while transference to an artificial body would result in a cybernetic organism, or cyborg. Uploading consciousness into bodies created by robotic means is a goal of some in the artificial intelligence community. In this scenario, the consciousness is assumed to be recorded and/or transferred to a new robotic brain, which generates responses indistinguishable from the original organic brain. However, it is not known how much computer memory or processing capacity, or what kind of architecture, would be needed to simulate the activity of a human mind inside a computer.

Mind Transfer in the Extraordinary Future
http://www.mind.ilstu.edu/curriculum/extraordinary_future/PhillipsCh4.php

In the scenarios presented there are usually several parts to the process. First, we have to ascertain the contents or details of an individual's mind. Primarily this would be done by scanning it, either invasively (destructively) or noninvasively. Then we have to transfer the results of the scan into a robot brain or construct a robot brain to match the structure of the human brain scanned.

GROWING BRAINS
http://www.mind.ilstu.edu/curriculum/extraordinary_future/PhillipsCh4.php
Paul and Cox also discuss the possibility of mind transfer via a transplant process scenario, in which parts of a person's brain are systematically replaced by electronic parts from a robot brain. They envision replacing each neuron, synapse, and connection with a circuit switch and line that functions like the natural system. At the end the mind has been transferred to the robot brain. They also mention the possibility of growing the brain to twice its size (twice as many neurons), with all information duplicated. The brain is then spilt down the corpus callosum and each half put into a new body, and you wind up with two people and successful mind duplication. However, this would not be an instance of mind transfer from human brain to robot brain (Paul & Cox, 1996, p. 189).

BECOMING A LOT SMARTER
http://www.mind.ilstu.edu/curriculum/extraordinary_future/PhillipsCh4.php
In his earlier work Mind Children, Moravec presents several possible scenarios for mind-transfer. He clearly recognizes that transfer must maintain personal identity for it to be a continuation of the same person. Transplanting a brain into a robot body would not be enough, because it would not have changed the limitation of the limited and fixed intelligence of the human brain. What is needed is a way to get the mind out of the brain (Moravec, 1988, p. 109). Here of course we see that another goal of mind transfer is not immortality but getting a lot smarter.
