Big Brain Technology Evolution

Big Brain Technology Evolution

This paper recounts the most important evolutionary processes of consecutive brain technology advances by Humanoido at Big Brain Technologies Foundation and finally leading up to the current project of creating a half human half machine Transhuman, and also projecting the worthy goals going into the future.

Humanoido, Father of the Big Brain Machine, is on a lifetime quest of technology to become one with the machine. The ultimate prizes are becoming Transhuman (already achieved) and transferring the full biological brain into a machine brain for immortality. Time is running out. Will the final goal be achieved in this lifetime?

PROJECT 1  THE 1ST MACHINE HUMANOID
In 1954, the first humanoid included many human functions of speech, mobility, electronics, and a compartment waiting for a microprocessor thinking brain.

PROJECT 2  THINKING MACHINE BRAIN
By 2002, after almost 50 years of study, schooling, and technology evolution leading to the Microcomputer, the Humanoido foundation created the Lab's first thinking multiprocessor brain for use in its humanoid robots.

PROJECT 3  LARGEST MACHINE BRAIN
Upon seeing the success and rapid growth of a single machine brain, it was allowed to grow exponentially to the largest machine brain ever created in Humanoido's international world laboratories. This project established techniques of assimilation where the machine brain absorbed and consumed other powerful processing machines resulting in a mind numbing number of processors and increases in power and capabilities.

PROJECT 4 SUPERCOMPUTER
Based on the previous project, and the study and implementation of parallel thinking machine processors, along with relentless assimilation, the Big Brain Supercomputer was created.

PROJECT 5  AI MACHINE LIFE
Based on the full power of the new supercomputing entity, AI life and semi machine cognizance was established.

PROJECT 6  MACHINE BRAIN IN A JAR
A multiprocessor exampling machine brain was built inside a jar. It emulated a human brain Cortex, and was given self sustaining memory, renewable power, ability to think and learn, and the gift of speech.

PROJECT 7  TRANSFER HUMAN BRAIN INTO MACHINE BRAIN
The brain cortex in a jar project developed a cortex machine brain, demonstrated human-to-machine brain transfer, in particular to take some relatively simple human characteristics and transfer portions to the machine brain, whereby human traits could be given greater life longevity, leading towards immortality.

PROJECT 8  HUMAN TRANSFORMATION INTO MACHINE
The goal is the transformation of Humanoido human into Humanoido Transhuman. A Transhuman is part human and part machine. This massive one of a kind experiment creates a new 21st Century Man, an advancement in evolution towards the Singularity when man becomes one with the machine. In this case, the objective is to quantify enough replacement of the human side to create life longevity and to advance humans to the first century of the third millennium in fantastic futuristic ways.

PROJECT 9  THE FUTURE BRAIN
The new goal is to create a full size machine brain entirely capable of retaining and executing an uploaded human brain, as a replacement for a human brain in the quest for a better life, extended life and immortality.

Lab Update May 10th 2015

LAB UPDATE MAY 10TH 2015
United Humanoido Laboratories UHL and Space1 Tourism have a lot going on in the month of May. Fewer and fewer blogs resulted as massively large projects are under way, being developed and were completed.

The big key is a massive move to the USA as many projects are opened up and awaiting completion.

The data is collected and archived for the setup of Space1 in the USA. Long range plans include the launch of our first space tourist inside the safety rocket.

Machine experimentation, testing, and deployment is slated for 2015, including the new time machine. The time machine is capable of slowing down referential time from the rocket resulting in a longer duration space flight for a more satisfying space tourism adventure.

SPACEONE! MAGAZINE
The aerospace company SpaceOne is working on a new rocket magazine, named SpaceOne!

Thus far, the magazine is currently kept in-house under wraps, and not ready for release. It's expected to be released when the products it describes become available. SpaceOne! began as a simple newsletter and quickly filled up with remarkable layouts and interesting rocket science, thus transforming into a full fledged magazine with many illustrations and exciting space projects.

Era

BIG BRAIN ERA OF EVOLUTION
The time track of Big Brain machine evolution is divided by Era. An Era is a time range in which the Big Brain has focus on one specific area of development and evolution. 

Now is the Big Brain Control Era, a time period in which the Brain is learning how to control things, a precursor to the upcoming Exploration Era where the Brain is going to explore the world that surrounds it and move deep out into the Universe. Whether this will be a telepresence or an actual journey, or both, we do not know. (now updated, see below)

Defining the Era of the Big Brain
 
1 - Precursor Machines

In 2002 and prior, precursor machines were built to test the concepts that led up to the Big Brain's invention and construction.


2 - Design
The Big Brain underwent a design era to decide how it would be constructed and how it would operate.

3 - Construction
The Brain was assembled and put together in the Construction Era. This included the Board Attachment Phase. (see pose 01-03-2011, 1:37pm Code 5-96)
 
4 - Growth
The Brain rapidly grew and expanded in the Growth Era. 

5 - Programming 
The Brain was computer programmed to create machine brain functions, applications and test its capabilities.

6 - Life 
In the Era of Life, the Big Brain took on elements of the beginning of semi cognition and life. Other elements are included, i.e. dreaming, learning... 

7 - Assimilation
Like BORG, the BRAIN assimilated many Propeller projects for their technology and parts.

8 - Projects
In this Era, the Brain begins creating its own projects based on its own interests. 


9 - Programming Languages Era 
The objective to install as many Propeller languages as possible.

10 - Control
The Control Era is heavy into robotics and includes the manipulation of things in the real world.

11 - Exploration
Perhaps the most exciting of all Brain Era, that of exploration into the unknown..

12 - Supercomputer
The Big Brain grew until it became a supercomputer.

13 - Human Brain Enhancement by Machine
The machine era of enhancing the human brain for greater memory, greater intelligence and other enhancements.

14 - SuperTronic Brain Era
Ushers in microprocessor internalized double enhancements for faster speed, more processors, better definitives and more capabilities.

15 - Inner Space Era
This is the era of grand exploration of inner space found inside a chip, notably the Parallax Propeller chip. Inner Space is a broad category and expanded to include microscopic, mesoscopic, nanoscopic, and the quantum world.

16 - Transposition Era
This era has achieved the largest and most powerful machines by introducing Transposition. It uses the technique of transposing to achieve larger machines.

17 - Quantum Era
This era marks the beginning of exploration of quantum mechanics and new quantum worlds and the study of their effects.

18 - Thought Era
The Era of quantum thought is that type of thought and observation that affects and changes its surroundings and its Universe.

19 - Adjunctive Era
The Adjunctive Era is the time span in which massive Adjunctive telescopes are developed, such as the ULT, NULT, GT, PGT and the PGT-ET. 

20 - Monster Machine Era
The new monster machine era is the time span in which new kinds of machines are created. These machines function entirely different from conventional machines. They process ideas, thoughts, creativity, alternating dimensions of space, light, objects, time and dimension. They can infer and create new altered realities and transform parts of the universe into other realms such as gravatomics and moleculars. 

21 - Molecular Mining Era
Undoubtedly the two advanced power telescopes have led to a period of intense and massive molecular mining. Both the M3T Massive Molecular Mining Telescope and the MMT Molecular Mining Telescope are producing fantastic results and new discoveries during November and December of 2013.

22 - Brain Cortex Machine Era
The project objective is to develop a cortex machine brain, demonstrating human-to-machine brain transfer, in particular to take some relatively simple characteristics of a human brain and transfer portions to the machine brain, whereby human traits could be given greater life longevity, leading towards immortality.

Recycle

You can recycle your Propeller chip projects from one to the next, exploiting green Earth technology in the process. This is an example list of starting small and increasing to progressively larger machines. However, as these machines become larger, it takes longer times to recycle and rebuild. (I'm still working on the Progression Machine, beyond the 40-Prop Barrier.) See the examples below.

A machine with 1 master and 54 slaves, "432 cores, 1620 I/O, 150Kbps communication, word enumeration, 54 randomly generated IDs, To study the nature of randomness in a digital processor network using the same clock source, 54 prop chips were all connected to a master prop. I like having 1,620 I/O at my fingertips. To study the nature of randomness in a digital processor network using the same clock source, 54 prop chips were all connected to a master prop. The master prop holds the eeprom, and accepts prop plug input for memory/program download. The master prop controls the reset and clock lines for all 54 props. The master prop also sends all combinations of a word out broadcast to all 54 props that are connected bus network style.
When a slave prop sees its number broadcast on the bus line, it replys with the same number. Then the slave prop runs code depending on the number broadcast. Its possible to broadcast messages to all props, or single props, after the initial enumeration is done. Repeats are possible in any system that has reduced choices and increased speeds. If repeats are a worry, then a long sized variable should be used in the random ID generation. Enumeration of the Randomly generated ID's. Every step up in variable size reduces the speed that the whole system can communicate at due to more data being sent over the same speed pipe. The communicaiton speeds of the bus network can be increased with lower value resistors, but the power draw will increase, if the props are connected to the bus with lower values, one needs to adjust all other bus resistors in relation.



Having? You take 55 props, some programming (attached), a bag of 470 ohm resistors(500) (not attached), a 3.3v regulator (2A), a huge breadboard, wire, 57 leds. Using the Real Random object in the obex created by Chip Gracey. This object generates real random numbers by stimulating and tracking CTR PLL jitter. Michael O'Brien OBrien Labs: Distributed Parallel Processing
Target goal = 80 Props / 640 cores. "80 Parallax Propeller 8-core microcontroller based parallel processing computer in progress... And now we start the process of getting an 80 propeller chip / 640 core multiprocessor working. Why 640 cores?

In early 2008 i became increasingly interested in hardware based parallelism. The majority of the design and defect issues we are seeing in enterprise software tools development involve concurrent processes and how to fully utilize available cores in existing and future systems. Parallization of software is a huge problem, i decided to approach this from the additional view of "bottom-up" engineering - by designing and writing "architecture-aware" simple systems to start.

A "base-case" architecture would initially do away with microprocessors all together and design a purely parallel machine with very simple cores - like a 1-bit symbolic ALU consisting of a few logic gates. We could realize this custom machine using standard (since the 70's) TTL HSCMOS chips or even a single FPGA. The parallizable algorithm of choice is cellular automata for a symbolic machine or the Mandelbrot set for a floating point machine - we will implement the 256 function/1-dimensional/2-state Wolfram CA in hardware for our first base case parallel machine.

The PCAM implements a boolean function of 3 variables (left,center and right cells on a cell array) - this function has 2^2^n states or 256. This 8 bit byte fits very nicely in the 74 TTL logic family as a single 151/251 data selector can be used as the core of each ALU. Before I start the process of designing modular 2-8 chip boards for a near production prototype - my workspace does not fit more than 40 breadboards on a what - a whiteboard.

We will be encountering issues like power/voltage loading, parasitic capacitance, TTL-HSCMOS fanout and placing at least 4000 wires. Not to mention the hardest part of the process - the software. And now I reveal the point of designing this huge propeller grid.

A.C.S.E.R. Structure complete, wiring/soldering/programming up next. Dec 21st 2012, target completion date, confirmed. Initiate phase 2: soldering minimal antenna and firmware design for hydrogen resonance test. This initial design will require a minimum of 42 propeller chips, with a desired target of 84 chips. After tests with 84 chips, the next step up is to install and wire the maximum # of 504 prop chips. Yes, the final design will require 504 propeller chips. = $4,000.

Once the inital 42 chips are soldered and the system is working, and I have a running program, I will start a new thread in projects outlining the details of this device, its capabilities, tests, methods, schematics, pcb design files, spin programs, and more detailed video and images. The most important part of documentation will be the success or failure of this device to actually do what I intend it to do. It’s (very likely) possible that other uses will be found as I start to test with it.
