It's a blazing path into the far deep future. The year is counting at 2018. A match made in Heaven - the new move opens up all new laboratories for giant rockets, giant brains, giant robots and giant telescopes. The three labs are connected with a skyscraper observatory telescope complete with a Skyway in the sky that has an AI brain. Brains go into telescopes and into robots that go into rockets. The rockets have rocket brains and the telescope tracks the rocket in space.

This year is a Cardinal celebration for Humanoido and the advancement of innovation, newness, and pushing forward the frontier of space travel, humanoid robotics and machine intelligence. We are now out in the Pacific Ocean at one of the largest laboratories in many years, setting up science and shop. The Big Brain has his own room and is being built into the wall. THE FOUNDER of Space1 worked out a way to simplify the Space1 Space Suit and system, and that's why the possibility of an early 2016 launch of the first human tourist in space via Space1's Safety Rocket was quoted. It will simplify down into fundamental constituent rocket-suit components. "Cheaper, faster, and equally safe way to go into space." The plan will retain Space1's Basis Robotics System.

‘PROTO’ is a sci-fi action adventure, about a child-like, experimental robot, set in the robotics lab where he has been built. It was shot in August 2011 at Robocluster in Denmark, a genuine working robotics lab and completed in June 2012, before going on to its premiere showing in early 2013.

Space1 Enterprise has established a minimalist approach to launching the first tourists into space with its Safety Rocket.

This will put Space1 tourists into space a full 2 years ahead of the expected timeline. The history setting first Space1 touring astronaut could space debut in early 2016.

Over 50 Years ago on April 12,1961 the era of Human spaceflight opened with a roar to the heavens above with the thunderous blastoff of Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin aboard the Vostok 1 capsule from the Baikonur Cosmodrome Site No.1 at 9:07 a.m. Moscow time. Gagarin, at the age of 27, dared to brave the perils of the unknown and became the first human being to be strapped atop a rocket, ascend to outer space and view what no one else had ever seen, the entire Earth as a sphere.

Vostok 3KA-3 spacecraft (Vostok 1) reentry capsule with its parachute on the ground after landing south west of Engels, in the Saratov region of southern Russia. Gagarin ejected from the capsule at 7 km altitude and parachuted safely to the ground.  

For tourists, the minimalist approach includes the Safety Rocket, a basic space suit with integrated computer, a rocket flight computer, and fundamental sensors. Special cams will document the tourist flight, launch, and recovery.

Space1 Temperature Winter Climate Rocket Launch

Typical perfect winter launch conditions include flat land for many miles in every direction, a white snow field cover with few snow drifts and ice, a clear blue sky and no wind. However, what is the effect of the freezing cold on Space1 equipment for launching Safety Rockets?

SPACE1 TEMPERATURE WINTER CLIMATE ROCKET LAUNCH
Temperature is a concern during conventional space launches. NASA showed the world that launching in freezing temperatures with rubber O-rings on the SRB solid rocket boosters was a condition to avoid, when the space shuttle Challenger blew up.

How does temperature effect Space1 systems? The Safety Rocket does not use rubber o-rings but does contain other systems. How do these systems perform under winter conditions? Can we launch space tourism rockets in the cold winter, from more polar vantage points? What is the limit of cold for space launches? And if the design for winter launches is a go, what are the advantages in doing so?

The system can be divided into the rocket, launch system, space capsule, space suit, and avionics. The rocket has engines, the capsule has cameras and windows plus a pressure related environment, and the space suit has electronic and mechanical sensors.

More testing is needed for the engines to record and study performance under freezing temps. Electronics have posted operating temperature ranges. However, it becomes necessary to fully understand the way a sensor operates.

The sensor that uses heat cannot exceed the specs for ambient temperature, such as the accelerometer. The pressure detector will be affected by temperature. Cameras may have windows and lenses that frost over. Thawed ice on components, with conductive dust or lint contamination, may short circuit, so keeping items sealed in a clean environment is required. Humidity control is important. The case for engines and dry weather is to avoid static electricity which can cause engines to ignite prematurely and parts to have spontaneous combustion.

Sensors related to limits of their thermodynamic environments and vibration will be studied. Numerous unmanned test flights are scheduled after the Madonna Concert during winter of 2016.

Space1 Rocket Space Tourism Update

Since moving to the USA, work continues on Space1 facilities, ground breaking, the development of a space rocket transport truck, ongoing clearing of trees, and multiple scheduled site surveys of the remote space port for launching rockets.

A grand site survey will take to the sky in a flyby plane to do a human-based photographic survey of the launch facilities. Ground surveys will also be conducted once location maps to find the launching complex are draw up.

The astronaut ejectables concept is further developed. During apogee, an astronaut who is wearing a special suit resembling Iron Man, is ejected to fly back to Earth under his own

Five rockets are ongoing with research, development, constructing and testing, with 15 powerful motors standing by for selection.

The electronics lab will have a large parts order to equip many experiments and construction projects.

The grand science building will be renovated to accommodate the labs.

An advanced aeronautical lab is well under way.

The tool shop is being advanced.

Security measures are taken, purchased and being installed.

New designs on the table include property security fencing.

Gun shield bunkers are being considered.

Studies include local weather and humidity patterns that effect launches.

Space1 Booster Rocket

Space1 met with its supplier of rocket engines to purchase a rocket booster which was spotted the last time we were there. 

We planned to buy two styles of boosters that were custom designed to fit the two styles of our rockets and we planned to purchase at a later time. We were shocked to find the booster was sold to our competition! 

Does this mean our competition has stolen the plans to our rocket? Far greater security will be installed at our space complex asap.

PHOTO: Does the booster used by Space1 resemble NASA's SRB Solid Rocket Booster? Yes and no. Our SRB is similar in dry powder design except it's built without the problematic ORINGS.

Space1's solid rocket booster is similar to NASA's except Space1 does not use rubber o-rings.

Good news is the largest booster (2 of 2) was still available there, at full price, and it will fit our largest rocket.

The massive booster will enable a longer burn time, a greater acceleration span, and an initial penetration to maximum troposphere resulting in the highest height achievable of any Space1 rocket.

The surprise is there is no demo this time and we must assemble the entire rocket booster piece by piece.

Space1 Rocket Safety Motors

Space1 continues to develop and improve its rocket technology for safety. Part of this program deals with the use of safety rocket motors.

In order to achieve motor safety, each rocket motor is used only once. Currently the expanding space-age tourist rocket company has enough motors for 14 upcoming launches.

These motors are not reusable. To achieve the highest safety levels, no rocket motor materials are reused for a reason. Typically, invisible fracture lines and stress failures occur within motor casings, components and cast materials.

This can occur for several reeasons: mechanical in-flight stress, Young's Modulus of flexure, high thermodynamic levels, buffeting, pressure, vibrations encompassing large frequency range, heavy G forces, junction to weightlessness, re-entry stress, jolt stress during parachute deploy (in parachute return vehicles), and other parameters.

Discarding all one-time use components is a welcomed safety feature. This ensures a greater envelop of safety for astronauts in the program.

Space1 USA Reboot

SPACE1 USA REBOOT
The rebooting startup of Space1 in the USA has faced many challenges.
Interesting, most of these challenges are everyday common living events.

For example, at the rocket site, the land must be prepared, mowed and cut, leveled, the building structure put up and then upgraded with a foundation, existing structures will need to be upgraded for a Space1 hangar facility, Space1 Laboratory, and Space1 corporate office. Cement will be poured, and existing trees and bushes will be trimmed, cut and removed.

As temperatures currently are hanging around 100 degrees F. (in late June and July) with RH above 90%, and mosquitoes and rain storms are a hindrance, work is proceeding slowly. Vehicles must be brought up to specs, and the facilities installed and working.

Rocket facilities need special ventilation installed, with new security systems, inclusive of security doors, security flood lamps and motion detectors, along with security cameras and alarm systems.

Science equipment will be installed, including the robotics laboratory with emphasis on humanoids, a library, weather station, and possible special telescope observatory. Attention to inventory is also of paramount concern.

Special insulation and finishing is important to comply with space requirements. Rocket inventory is currently being developed inclusive of materials to build five new fleet rockets and a selection of rocket motors are being warehoused in preparation of the next 14 rocket launches (and/or tests) and space missions.

Space1 Booster Rocket & Glider

SPACE1 BOOSTER ROCKET & GLIDER
Space1 in the USA is progressing with concept, design, construction, and testing of a new booster rocket and spacecraft glider. The booster is a vertical deployment with enough diameter and mechanical mounts to support multiple arrays of surrounding gliders.

At apogee during the mission, the gliders release at the same time, maintaining gyro equilibrium to the booster, then follow glide flight paths back to earth. Circular glide paths absorb kinetic energy to reduce speed to safe levels.

Each glider spacecraft can support 1 or many astronauts, depending on configuration. First Envisions (tm), a division of Space1, has allocated 3 periphery gliders on one booster arranged in triequilibrium.

A reusable boost keeps space flights and missions as low cost as possible and potentially affordable to the space tourism industry.

Scaling flights are slated for summer of 2015 over the USA at Space1's Rocket Space Port.

New USA Space1 Rocket Lab

Established recently in the USA, the new rocket lab is busy stocking up on rocket parts and supplies to assemble a total of five new rockets.

RESEARCH VEHICLE
One research vehicle among the fleet is a rocketing space shuttle that will ferry supplies, test equipment, and possible astronauts back to earth. The design originated many years ago but only now do we have working vehicles to fly.

SHUTTLE DESIGN
The shuttle design is a gliding vehicle, and does not carry volatile rocket fuel, making it reusable for more safe landings. Automatic design parameters enable the vehicle to return on its own.

ROCKETS
Other rockets range in size from four different diameter and height dimensions. The largest rockets designed appear to have heavy lift capability for multiple equipment bays or multiple astronauts.

ROBOTICS
Space1 is heavy into advanced space flight robotics. The robotics division is already vastly equipped in both Taiwan and USA locations.

LAUNCH COMPLEX
Also equipped with parts for two launch sites, the liftoff pads have varying capabilities depending on rocket size. Control panels will be spaced at safe distance from the launch rockets and towers.

ROCKET MOTORS
Highest reliability rocket motors are purchased from a reputable professional rocket motor corporation pre-made and ready for precision installation into rockets at the time of launch. A total of fourteen rocket motors are now within Space1 inventory.

These will be used for primary launches and rocket tests. Four motors in the engine lot are the most powerful ever purchased and just within affordable means at this time.

These motors require lead delivery times and special shipment procedures, and will produce the highest rocket thrust and space altitudes ever reached by Space1's fleet of rockets.

Under consideration now is the increase of rocket penetration into space by the addition of thruster boosters, that not only extend space flight duration, but offer more space tourism during the mission.

An Asian Arena Summit Meeting was held in Hong Kong with the President to officially establish Space1's newest SpacePort for launching Space Tourism Safety Rockets. Hong Kong is the latest country with an established SpaceOne spaceport, and joins the collective that includes the USA, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore and Macao.

The number of countries occupied by Space1 is six, and the number of Space1 spaceports is 11. At this time, the exact location of spaceports is not revealed. For more information about tickets for space tours and reservations, contact Space1.

Space1 Spaceport Bonanza - Rockets in South Korea Singapore Taiwan USA

"Space Concrete for a kilometer" - the new modern Space1 Xinyi Super Spaceport in Taiwan has a "kilometer of concrete" poured for rocket launch and clear rocket reentry and retrieval. With no obstruction, trees, man-made structures, or occluding debris, the spaceport is a boon and hive of space activity for rapid peacetime operations.

Located directly at the apex of entry is the MRT futuristic railway for transporting passengers to the spaceport for space tourism, scientists for testing and conducting launch operations, and moving equipment for launches.

The spaceport includes directly adjacent modern centers shopping, lodging, food, parking, and access points for rocket scientists and astronauts participating in peaceful space tourism. Space1 operations security precludes the display of current rocket activities in this photo.

Space1's futuristic nature is moving right along. The President is meeting in three countries, including France and Italy, to discuss the establishment and opening of two new spaceports in 2015.

 











































Space1 is moving quick on many evolutionary projects, with a growing team of highly qualified and educated international experts, who are highly motivated in bringing peaceful space tourism to the world.

The exact location of both spaceports will be hammered out in presidential meetings over this month. Stay tuned to the blog for more incoming information.

This will bring up Space1's total number of countries to include USA, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, France and Italy.

Rocket Space Fire Debate - Focus on Greece

Not all countries are receptive to the firing and launching of space touring rockets as Vassilis Kapernaros, a member of the political party Independent Greeks, discovered. He submitted a proposal for the transformation of the Kalamata International Airport to a rocket launch site, at Parliament. citing that Greece will be able to tap into space tourism.

The government was in opposition of an International Center for Space Tourism in Kalamata. According to greekreporter.com, Notis Mitarakis, the Deputy Minister of Development said that the country has yet to show any interest in the aerospace industry, while Michalis Chrysochoidis, the minister of infrastructure noted that such a project needs resources and infrastructure investments that Greece is not currently able to provide.

He added that an operation like this would cost millions of dollars that the country can’t afford, and also that the project would have to be cautiously approached because of “European and International regulations.”

Space1 has yet to approach the Greek government for a site proposal to create a spaceport. It's likely Space1 will approach other countries first and during that transitional time period, the country of Greece will realize the vast revenue that space tourism can generate, and undoubtedly warm up to hosting and funding the proposal.
