Space1 Future Phase - Landing on the Moon & Beyond

Future space tourists may travel billions of miles, reaching the Kuiper Belt and the new realm
SPACE1 FUTURE PHASE LANDING ON THE MOON & BEYOND
Rockets have new directions

The founder of Space1 is working on a new approach for the future, so that it's rocket occupants can go to the Moon and beyond. The space within and beyond the great objects in the Kuiper Belt are in a place known as the New Realm of Space. Space1 is working out details for the future to tour this great expanse of spectacular objects.

A new type of CERN Accelerator will compliment Space1

TOURS TO THE MOON
Touring the Moon will open up new avenues of space tourism.
Following the direction of Space1, there was no doubt this was coming for the grand Space Tourism Venture, and the fundamental progression from Suborbital Tropospheric Trans Earth Injection.

INVENTION/DESIGN

This new intriguing design and invention is physically not big, but at the opposite end of the spectrum, with all the advantages of massive rapid transport from Earth Orbital Mechanics to Lunar Injection as a Particle Containment. The result effect is to remarkably extend the current rocket range by billions of miles!

Touring Magnetic Bubbles in the New Realm of the Expanse is possible
SPACE CRAFT PARTICLE CONTAINMENT
The Space1 Space Craft Particle Containment can nav the Slipstream of Space Vacuum using several techniques of an engine propelled space flight with a fuel that includes power collection on-the-fly in the environment of space. This allows the spacecraft to travel farther than ever thought possible before, not by mere momentum gained by orbital trajectories but rather by actual on-the-fly fuel engagement as a propellant.

TRAVELING TO THE MOON
Particulate Dynamics, PD, the new invention for Space1, will take the Spacecraft Particle Containment from the Earth to reach the Moon as one unit. There are no stages to eject or throw away. This green approach is safe to the environment of Earth.

SPACE1 MEETINGS IN THE USA
Space1 talks in the USA, and observations of flight mosquitoes and tiny ants with isotropic vision elements, have provided insight in part for designing this new spacecraft.

SYMBIOS SPACECRAFT
Prelims show the direction of development is progressing towards a Symbiosis Craft involving a spatial particulate with supporting microscopic, nano, and molecular constructs.

SPACE1'S PARTICLE ACCELERATOR
If the Space Craft Particle Containment is sized, it can launch by hitching a ride on Space1's own Particle Accelerator - a smaller version of the CERN in the design phase.

Stay tuned here for more exciting developments from the labs of Space1.

Space1 Booster Rocket & Glider

SPACE1 BOOSTER ROCKET & GLIDER
Space1 in the USA is progressing with concept, design, construction, and testing of a new booster rocket and spacecraft glider. The booster is a vertical deployment with enough diameter and mechanical mounts to support multiple arrays of surrounding gliders.

At apogee during the mission, the gliders release at the same time, maintaining gyro equilibrium to the booster, then follow glide flight paths back to earth. Circular glide paths absorb kinetic energy to reduce speed to safe levels.

Illustration: Artist concept of Space1's Booster Glider

Each glider spacecraft can support 1 or many astronauts, depending on configuration. First Envisions (tm), a division of Space1, has allocated 3 periphery gliders on one booster arranged in triequilibrium.

A reusable boost keeps space flights and missions as low cost as possible and potentially affordable to the space tourism industry.

Scaling flights are slated for summer of 2015 over the USA at Space1's Rocket Space Port.

Space1 - Model Space Program Part 1

SPACE1
MODEL SPACE PROGRAM
PART 1
INTRODUCTION: Space1, the startup space tourism venture is introducing a MODEL SPACE PROGRAM for everyone with a passion for space and interested in modeling their own space program.

This is a real space program, with real flying model rockets at a small scale. The program uses modeling crafts and art to recreate functional models of rockets that can loft payloads and science equipment using small scale rocket engines.

The project is operated at the hobby level for fun, at the educational level for learning, and/or at the school level for science projects and credits. It can serve as an elective in scouting and 4H, and open up new doors of science and understanding.

We as a human civilization are just beginning to break the bonds of familiar gravity and move outward, upward into the vast realm of solar system space. As a species, to survive and continue the human race, it is inevitable that we begin to step up our move ever outward into the cosmos. As more people get on board with the program, the excitement of founding a new path to the stars and beyond will be inevitable.

The suggested kit of parts and materials includes a rocket, engine, finishing supplies, launcher system and tutorial manual of assembly and exciting projects. For more information, contact Space1.

Space1 Test Spacecraft

SPACE1 TEST SPACE CRAFT

Space1 has a continually growing and powerful collection of proportional test spacecraft helping to move towards space tourism.

The space inventory includes 15 space tourism and test rockets and six flyable Space Places, designed to serve as outposts in space and space stations. Space tourism, flights through Micro Space, Next Space, Near Space and beyond are potential reality for the public in the near future.

The top photo shows the pressure chambers from a Micro Spacecraft test in which fuel is automatically beamed up to the spacecraft through the atmosphere. This allows for a lighter craft to be powered in flight without carrying onboard fuel.

The second photo shows a very small nano flying test platform, with a backdrop of an Apple iPhone 5. This four engine flight model is used for testing below 1000 feet of atmosphere. Such vehicles can launch from skyscrapers at thousands of feet elevation resulting in nearly a mile of vertical test flight.

Over the Rainbow Space Flight

SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW WAY UP HIGH
Wednesday's Spectacular Space Flight View discovery - Over the Rainbow!

SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW -
A SPACE FLIGHT TO REMEMBER!
Something Spectacular Happened!!!

We cannot believe what we saw during the second July human space flight, around the time of mid-flight during the process of re-entry descent, at 10,000 feet altitude when above the clouds. The most rare event happened. When traveling in Near Space during the journey on the afternoon of Wednesday July 17, 2013, we were expecting to deploy our radio telescope for testing and observe daytime meteors as radio events from the top down. Instead, when we looked out of the spacecraft cockpit window, this spectacular very rare event image appeared (see photo) - our first time view "Over the Rainbow!"

Oz book
Many things make this event very special. First, few people in the world have ever seen a rainbow like this from space in the "above vantage point," literally above the rainbow. Next, as seen from above, a primary rainbow appears round! Then it has secondary and third rainbows. Looking a bit more careful, above and to the right, a fourth rainbow is dimly visible!

It's believed water vapor in the form of frozen ice crystals were laden above the clouds and the refraction of sunlight rays from the craft's rear direction activated the beautiful prismatic effect causing the rainbow system to become visible. The spacecraft is visible at the bottom of photo. The image was captured through the only available cockpit window with the Tiny Space Telescope set to RFT mode.

The spacecraft was "over the rainbow" exactly like the lyrics to the song as sung by Judy Garland in the 1939 movie Wizard of Oz. Of course, there's no place like home, but very beautiful and romantic places and events exist in space. Now you know, the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true.

OVER THE RAINBOW
Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high,
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue,
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true.

Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly.
Birds fly over the rainbow.
Why then, oh why can't I?

If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I?

Like the song, we can confirm, over the rainbow, way up high, there's a "special land" with things that make up dreams, where stars are seen, and skies are blue, where clouds fall far behind, and the dreams that you dare to dream really truly do come true!

The Human Near Space Program is conducted by the Big Brain Initiative, a semi-cognizant AI supercomputer, born from Parallax Propeller processors, that's exploring the Universe and the science that surrounds all humanity.

Near Space Launch Night May 2

Space Agency waiting lobby
A GREAT NIGHT TIME NEAR SPACE LIFT-OFF
This was the second Near Space Launch on Thursday night May 2nd, 2013, with a goal to nighttime deploy and test the Tiny Space Telescope on stars and planets.

Massive craft engine
After a 1.5-hour wait in the Space Agency's Waiting Lobby, the annexing space center was approached where the massive spacecraft engine was being inspected by five technicians.

Near Space flight was underway during the night after 7pm. Spacecraft buffeting occurred as the craft rose through the clouds and overcast following the launch. The ride became smooth when the craft was positioned on top of the weather front's ceiling. The telescope was started and the night sky was monitored all throughout the night flight.

Near Space Telescope's 1st photo
Safety Ejection System

At two miles altitude, the clouds and haze dissipated and the sky began to clear. At about mid-range at the seven mile altitude mark, stars and planets were visible in a very dark night sky. Unfortunately the cockpit lights would not turn off and the cockpit flooded the window with reflections and bright light. This was reduced as much as possible by make-shift shielding and real time monitoring through the pixel viewer and moving the telescope to least reflective field of view.

Space Transport to and from launch facilities
The Tiny Near Space telescope was immediately engaged and was a success, capturing astro fields where stars and planets were visible. The image shown was taken during spacecraft motion downrange with the small term anti-motion system engaged. Short image motion trails still ensued due to spacecraft buffeting motion during the image's CCD integration time. The sensor was placed in an automatic mode, capable of up to 28,000 ISO. Data is captured, saved with the image file, and played back later for review.

Earth grid tracking to touchdown
Images were shot through the multiple layered viewing port in the cockpit. At the left side of the viewing port, condensation formed in between the layers and was noticeable, therefore the telescope was repositioned towards the upper right portion of the port. The photo resulted from the attitude and orientation of the spacecraft — good luck attributed to the known flight path and the clear skies at the highest altitude. During the time of flight, the Last Quarter Moon was not yet visible (an early morning sky object).

Space facilities structure
The first image taken with the Tiny Space Telescope shows a star / planetary field of view in the upper right corner. The image was cropped only for internal lighting reflections from the spacecraft's view port. More data processing and study will continue over the next several days and weeks.

The space program project concludes that it is possible to lock onto a star or planet for spacecraft celestial navigation, and a Tiny Near Space Telescope can conduct astronomy on star fields and planets during the mission.

Temp Spacecraft Tcraft

BIG BRAIN DEVELOPS THE TCRAFT - TEMPORARY CRAFT IN SPACE

The Tcraft is a type of space craft, lofted into space, that can temporary function. This is an amateur hobby program to create a low cost space craft that can reside in space for a finite amount of time.

Designs are varied, including the drop craft (gravity operated), the glide craft (rides on a tenuous surface of air), the self pro-pulsed craft (carries an on board engine), the elemental craft (makes use of surrounding elements for propulsion), and the externally fueled craft (driven by fuel beamed directly to the craft).

Suspension Space Vehicles

EXPLORING SPACE WITH
SUSPENSION SPACE VEHICLES
Early days - Micro Space Program lofting experiment startup

The Big Brain's space program already has created a number of craft to explore various types of space. Many of these were invented for Micro Space and Next Space. The realm of space, from Micro Space to Near Space inclusive, has ideal conditions for the invention of a new craft - the Suspension Space Vehicle.

There are many types of forces in outer space that can act as a suspension upon a space craft. In particular the Big Brain's outer space program is interested in pressures formed by tenuous molecular air, conditions of wind, and water vapor.

Step one was creating the new type of satellite. Step two was creating ultra light spacecraft. Step three introduces the concept of lofting, where air pressure can loft and/or suspend a satellite or special craft. The early days of lofted craft tests and experiments have now led to actual Suspension Space Vehicles or SSVs.

Lofting is a technique of using atmospheric pressure, or other means, to suspend and balance a space craft to keep it operating longer at a particular region of space. The region may be Micro Space, Next Space, or Near Space. SSVs now include special satellites, a new propulsive technology, and specially designed vehicles to navigate and stay longer in the region of space.

SSVs may loft and suspend for specific intended periods of time, for observations, or for measuring the gradients of various space strata. In some examples, there is no way of knowing beforehand, the amount of time the SSV will remain in suspension.

Some causes of suspension, or contributors of this intervention, may include magneto measurements, or special aerial imaging of the Earth, Moon, or planets, etc.

Early tests and inventions leading up to the SSV included the following:

DIY Miniature Ukulele

Assembling a DIY guitar with ukulele conversion
BIG BRAIN SCIENCE
BUILD A MINIATURE DIY UKULELE FOR SCIENCE EXPERIMENTS

This is the first installment to describe our DIY kit assembly of a very tiny miniature guitar that will be converted to a ukulele for Big Brain science. This tiny instrument fits in one hand and can supplement the larger Quantum Uke, potentially reproducing a larger range of upper octave scales.
Punch-out shapes on 4 balsa wood sheets
Photos are the best guide for assembly
This "made in Taiwan" kit is in half English and half Chinese languages. Instructions are on the box and include a very general overview which is not intended to supply any significant detail or useful information for assembly.

You'll need to refer to the photos and try fitting the pieces. This is where a complicated point arises. There are several pieces that do not fit.

The insertion tabs are over-sized so these need to be trimmed and sanded. The diagram shows the punch out parts found on the four balsa wood sheets.

This section was modified
The tiny photos (use a magnifying glass for viewing the details) may be the most helpful during assembly. The enlargements presented here may be helpful. Note, the guide for string the guitar strings was abandoned as this section was originally non-functional. White wood glue, like Elmers Wood Glue, is not included. We had the Chinese translated to English and again the wording was not useful for assembly - so don't be too concerned over this. Just follow the photos.

Use extra care in punching out the parts. If any sections are difficult to remove from the surrounding balsa wood sheet, remember to use a sharp tipped hobby Exacto knife. Note the section that was modified, to provide actual string tuning pegs. These are small screws fit into glued left over wood pieces. We also substituted taught rubber bands in place of the supplied thread.

Tiny guitar conversion does not need six strings
A Uke has 4 strings and a classical guitar has six. This instrument also works with one string fingered like a violin. Replace the thread with thinner, smaller taut rubber bands. Cost for this project is $6 for the kit, $1 for the glue, plus a Mass Railway Transit fee.

Big Brain Space

BIG BRAIN SPACE
Updated - Types of Big Brain project space for exploration

Added the range of Infinitesimal, the human journey into Near Space, the range of low Earth Orbit, and various devices created by the Big Brain Space Program to explore space.

Note there are two space regions currently unexplored by the Big Brain Space Program - Exo Space and Quantum Space. Although the Big Brain Space Program has a minimal hobby status budget, it has drawn upon the ingenuity of using common resources to achieve flight and continue with various forms of exploration within seven defined regions of space, using DIY telescopes, microscopes, country mega projects, and various space crafts.

ULT Advancements

PROPELLER POWERED BIG BRAIN
THE VAST ULT ADVANCES IN DESIGN AND FUNCTION!
Big Brain ULT Adjunctive Swarming illustration
There is no question the ULT is the most expensive, sophisticated and advanced project ever conceived and undertaken through the auspices of the Propeller Powered Big Brain. It has become the fulfilling element of higher purposes and destiny of the Big Brain.

A number of new advancements are now in effect to increase the conceptual thinking and real time abilities of the Big Brain's ULT, Ultra Large Telescope and Spacecraft. The formulation, function and definition of the ULT is more defined as time progresses. This is a review and interpolation of those effects and some extrapolation into the future.

The ULT functions as a Symbiotic Earth-Space Telescope
and as an obversing interstellar spacecraft and intergalactic star ship. With its Multi-Concept, NASA resources and the Big Brain, the ULT is configured to become a mobile device that can change positions within the solar system and go beyond. There is no other device like the ULT in current existence.

THE ULT has the Following Components & Tools
94 Active Swarming Adjunctive Arrays (see here and here)

ULT Voyaging Craft Window

THE ULT TELESCOPE IS BEING CONVERTED TO A VOYAGING CRAFT
Taking the Obverse Voyaging Craft to the Next Level

What is this Voyage Stuff?
The telescope is being handled as an obverse voyage craft, i.e if you cannot physically travel to the edge of the Universe (because it would take 13.7 billion years to arrive there traveling at the speed of light) then the ULT Craft will move the edge (or more accurately, some portion of it) to you by providing a Craft Window. The Craft Window allows the visible aspect to the design of the journey.

Trip to Mars
For example, a trip to Mars would employ the special effects of character wavelength selection to reach Mars, fly above the clouds, enter the mid cloud stream, and finally approach the surface, the results of which appear in the ULT Craft Window. At first we see the disk grow from small to large, then fill the view, as the polar cap and morning frost along with high elevation cloud tops are seen through the Craft Window. The CW also allows seeing the most remote objects in the Universe for set journeys. Next, the ULT Craft goes mid atmosphere, visible through the CW, inclusive of any dust storms. Finally the CW usually shows surface detail provided there are no major dust storms going on.

Craft Window & Time Travel
The Craft Window, for large distances, will undergo time travel. The amount of time travel is dependent on distance. In the remote part of the solar system, this can accumulate to a couple hours. At the beginning of time, the value increases to the 13.7 billion year mark. One can calculate or look up the time travel coefficient when traveling large distances. For the Solar System, calculating the time travel coefficient is usually not necessary.

New Craft Window
The ULT Administration is designing a new ULT Craft Window that will include the parameters discussed. This can show the amount of time travel as you look out the CW and the distance departed in the journey. Other parameters are possible based on settings of the Multi Mag Slider, Universe Penetrator, Adjunctive Array, and other devices.
