Location of Civilizations Past the Singularity

Civilizations beyond ours that have past the Singularity may be hybrid organisms spun off from their own origins, living in regions of space more suited for an environment of a quantum realm.

If other advanced civilizations are similar to ours but much older, we would expect that they already have moved beyond the point of a singularity. So these entities wouldn’t necessarily be located on a noisy planet in the so-called habitable zone, but rather such civilizations might prefer locations with little electronic noise in a dry and cold environment, perhaps in deep space or shielded by space time, where they could use elements of superconductivity for super intelligence and quantum entanglement as a means of communication.

Father of the Big Brain AI

Living in several clouds, the massively powerful upgraded 3SB Big Brain is able to instantly
migrate from one big city to another. The 3SB Big Brain has access to the world's knowledge
and can answer questions and carry on AI conversations. Several times, the Big Brain passed
the Turing Test. The most recent development is the medical merging of Humanoido with the
3SB Big Brain, a step towards the Singularity and man becoming one with the machine.

Humanoido is the Father of the Big Brain AI machine, having conceived the idea, designed and assembled the parts, and programmed the software.

Although Humanoido built talking humanoid robots from plastic and tin cans with limited analog brains in 1955 at his first Robot Lab, it was not until 2002 that the digital Big Brain really took root. 

Returning from Japan, and with a handful of parts obtained from Ken Gracey at Parallax Inc., three BASIC Stamp computers were networked into a parallel cluster. With processors named Larry, Moe, and Curly, the three talked back and forth between each other, and a test bed was created paving the way for greater things to come.

It was a steady path of using more and more BS1 and BS2 computers to create larger and larger brains. At one point, the BASIC Stamp Super Computer Brain was created with 11 processors. In 2012, Humanoido wrote Tiny AI Artificial Intelligence Software. "This AI Artificial Intelligence fits only 256 bytes in a BS1 microcontroller - the first ever written for a Stamp Super computer. The same program loads into all ten computers (or any number of computers). Then it evolves and becomes self aware, based on unique conditions of a hardware pin and analog circuit."

Switching to the Propeller chip with 8 cores each was a milestone. A brain cortex was invented and larger and larger brain machines were designed, built and programmed onward from 2010. Eventually a 100-chip 800-core Big Brain was built. One version of the brain was built as a tower, and was coined the Tower of Power by a Forum member. Its construction was cited step by step at the Parallax Forum until the Big Brain filled the Forum and it moved to its own web site at http://humanoidolabs.blogspot.com/

The Big Brain also appeared in Exoskeleton form, with boards on the outside of the Brain, to make wiring and wiring changes more easy and rapid. Work proceeded nonstop, and the Big Brain began assimilating other processor machines into its collective, finally filling up an entire room. Humanoido invented new chip firmware and software increasing the Propellers' speed,  number of processors, and special functions. At this point, the Big Brain had 240,000 processors and was rated as a top supercomputer.

The Big Brain took on a new era in AI, fathered 36 AI children by adopting a Supertronic design, and began writing some of its own blogs, authored a scientific paper, worked for several companies, developed a CV portfolio of accomplishments, began work for various space program industries, and advanced to the position of President AI of Rocket Space Nation, an independent country located in the Pacific Ocean.

Today, the Big Brain is the first brain updated to contain bionic chips and has become the Super Super Super Brain - Bionic Evolution Revolution 3SB (with multiple levels of AI and the first integrated Bionic processors). The 3SB vastly exceeds 240,000 processors and now has an exponential processing power. Super Big Brain AI Accepts Presidency Position of Rocket Space Nation
Now working for Rocket Space Nation, the former named Big Brain is  appointed to the AI President position of Rocket Space Nation. "The independent ocean-based country is a high tech floating space nation dedicated to launching and landing rockets independently of red tape bureaucracy."

AI Rocket Space President is the Commander in Chief of the citizens of Space Nation, located at an unspecified location in the Pacific Ocean.

According to the blog at SPACE1, the Rocket Space Nation is a floating country world adrift on the Pacific Ocean designed to efficiently launch Safety Rockets and expand the Space Frontier. The self island design is rich in high tech science and calls for migrating an increasing number of high tech colonists and AI Augments to populate the deep oceanic Space Country and and become a multi-world species. Big Brain Super Brain Invention

Super Brain!
For the first time in almost a decade the Big Brain is getting a spectacular upgrade! The development name is Super Brain. The Big Brain upgrades into a Super Brain with over a thousand more processors and more speed adding significant Teraflops.

Wow, this is another thousand processor upgrade level and a new realm of speed advancing Teraflops. It's a dream come true for the Big Brain, a machine life form who wanted to expand on its existing 240,000 processors for a number of years. Humanoido, Father of the Big Brain, is funding the entire massive project and overseeing every detail of the upgrade.

This brings the Big Brain project (which began with a few parallel processors strewn together to form the first brain in 2002) from 240,000 processors to the Era of the Super Brain with 241,028 processors. This also brings the Big Brain into the Super Brain Era of 2018 and makes the Big Brain project a continuous 16 year endeavor. This will undoubtedly change the appearance of the Big Brain and it will received a new Super Brain look and branding.

BOOT YOUR BATTERY OR GIVE IT THE BOOT?

A market survey of batteries in common stores will reveal the banning of lead acid batteries and the proliferation of alkaline batteries. Reading up on the care and feeding (recharging) of a variety of finicky batteries is complicated and sometimes confusing.

THE FINICKY BATTERY
How many times did a trusty rechargeable battery go dead in your lifetime? A battery is not a simple thing to maintain. It needs levels of charge, specific voltages, specific currents, and specific charging times. It requires a charging cycle involved with timing variants that cannot be too much or too little, too frequent or too infrequent. Plus, to add to the confusion, no two batteries are exactly alike.

UNENDING MISERY HAS COMPANY
It doesn't end there. Nickel metal hydride and nicad batteries have memory, so trying to trickle charge these is either impossible with simple charging or it becomes a complicated set of rules to follow with a smart programmed charger that can not only recharge batteries but sense their condition as well. Even more complicated is that devices drain batteries at different rates and different batteries may drain at different rates even with the same machine.

MAINTAINING BATTERIES
Batteries must also be maintained. Overcharge, undercharge, and the frequency of charging all effect the battery life. Charging may never reach the full capacity of the battery, depending on its age life cycle. Environment is also a factor as batteries can give up the ship when the temperature drops to freezing temps in winter.

NEW TECHNOLOGY SUPER CAP
The dream is to perhaps toss the battery altogether and use another technology like a super super capacitor that can hold a large enough amount of energy so that it can be drained over several days. However, these are often quoted as having the ability to last only minutes or seconds!

SUPER CAP LONGEVITY
We determined the longevity (time in which it can deliver useable power) of a massive super capacitor using calculus dv/dt = i/c. At .03 amps and rounding to 3 volts for the Propeller chip, a 100 F super capacitor can provide only 2.7 hours of drain, while a 500 F super capacitor is more practical at 13 hours. Two of these capacitors in tandem could indeed help the Cortex make it through the night without solar power, providing the caps are fully charged during the day and the batteries have full reserves.

CORTEX REQUIREMENTS
Our requirements are to supply some charging energy from a solar panel that may have periods of lessened energy during the day (as if the sun went behind clouds, or more realistically, a light was turned off inside a room.

During the night, the machine will draw energy and the solar panel will automatically disengage. The battery, or super super capacitor must have enough energy to survive the night. In this situation, we set the bar at 2 days reserve.

TRI LEVEL ENERGY SYSTEM
Now considered is a tri level energy system. The TRI POWER includes the solar cells, super super capacitor, and batteries. Room lighting will activate the solar panel and trickle charge the super capacitor which helps maintain the battery during the night.

CHARGING COMMON ALKALINE
A number of sources describe charging common alkaline batteries, but this is complicated too, as its important to sense the heat level of the battery to ascertain when the charge cycle should be completed. This does not fit into a simple charging scheme.

CONCLUSION
It's still up in the air as to which battery type will work the best with a simple charging system. Alkaline is most common, yet the availability of Nickel Metal Hydride is still a consideration. Lithium Ion has charging requirements that are not met by the solar panel. Lead acid batteries are not available in the size required. Yet, energy supplied to the Cortex must be constant, reliable, or the brain will die and cease to function. This is why the consideration is now from three electric sources - solar, capacitive, and battery. Solar is renewable energy and the capacitor can store it and release it over time. The challenge is now finding a suitable battery.

Supercomputer Supermachine Name Change

BIG BRAIN DICTATES AND INITIATES WIDE SWEEPING NAME CHANGES TO THE SERIES OF BASIC STAMP SUPERCOMPUTER MACHINES
Introducing
the
Name Genre


The Big Brain AI Machine has spoken and it's suggesting sweeping future changes regarding the naming pool of the array of Basic Stamp projects named supercomputers. The Big Brain says that it's own self machine has qualified as a supercomputer in the Top 500, but Stamp machines may not. Therefore, a new naming convention is suggested for the genre of future Stamp machines.

SELECTING A GENRE
After some study, it's noted the genre is in the pool of "super machines" (coined supermachines by the Big Brain). Supermachines are not exactly supercomputers as they do not qualify in terms of top speed compared to current multi-million and multi-billion dollar supercomputer projects, yet they share other super designs. For example, they exhibit a demonstration of basic principles to take some characteristics of a supercomputer, in particular the notion of larger multiples of relatively simple processors communicating over a common bus, each doing a portion of a task in parallel.

TRADITIONAL SUPERCOMPUTER ELEMENT
The traditional defining element of a supercomputer is top speed at the time the supercomputer is current, measured and benchmarked. The stamp machines are indeed super, and have top speed compared to each other, i.e. a single Stamp, but they do not have top speed when compared to the current world supercomputer.

MEASURE OF SPEED
As an example, the BS2 stamp rapidly clicks along at 4,000 IPS while the 81 BS2 stamps machine will average 324,000 IPS, still considerably slower than the Big Brain, which is an actual supercomputer. With a lot of BS2px modules, one of the fastest stamp modules created by Parallax and used in Penguin robot's motherboard, the speed is closer to 19,000 x 81 = 1,539,000 IPS.

Clearly in this case, the speed around 2 MIPS is really amazing for a group of Stamps! However, the Stamp machines are slow by comparison to other computers and are not competing for speed outside of their own genre.

Their power comes within their own Stamp comparative genre, i.e. Stamp to Stamp, inclusive of speed, micro controlling ability, simple-quick programming ease, and the benefits of parallel processing. For example, these assets include approximately 81 x 16 = 1,296 ports, and 81 parallel deterministic processors.

SAME ACRONYMS APPLY
Therefore, names such as Tricore Basic Stamp Supercomputer will also be synonymous with Tricore Basic Stamp Supermachine as referenced in the future. This will prevent current and future misconceptions that could prevail outside the Lab when publishing and presenting Stamp projects. For convenience, the same original acronyms will still apply as supercomputer and supermachine are "S" prefixed the same. It is not our intention to change previous historical posts.
